Went to this location a few days ago to get some coffee. Let me start off by saying I am not a regular at Dutch Bros, but I am familiar with their menu and the fact that they have "secret menu drinks", I do not have a go to drink that I always order when going there, because I have always had pretty good luck trying employee recommendations for my drinks.
The girl who was outside taking orders was not very upbeat and friendly like the typical vibe of a Dutch bros location, which is fine, maybe she was having an off day. I asked her if she could provide any popular drink recommendations and her response was "well you can pull forward and look at the menu if you want" and I said no I dont need to do that, I was just curious if there are any really good or popular drinks that are not on the menu to try, and she proceeded with being annoyed and I said I usually drink Vanilla Lattes, but like to try new drinks from the coffee shop. Then she responded with, well we dont do lattes, and I said okay that is because your drinks are breves, to which she responded yes. But then she said I could do a latte in any flavor I wanted they would just use 2% milk. I told her I dont have a problem with a breve drink, I just wanted to know if there are any off the menu popular or employee recommended drinks.. her response was "well the Golden Eagle is a popular drink it's caramel and vanilla". I am familiar with this drink and went ahead and just ordered that because it was very clear that either this girl didnt know of any drinks, other than what was on the menu, or she was just in a bad mood or not wanting to be friendly. Either way she was the first person we encountered at this location and unfortunately is the person who set the tone for our visit and left a not so pleasant lasting impression.
To me this was not an experience that encompasses the Dutch Bros values. I would think twice about going to this location, we especially considering there are other locations and options around.

I ordered a double torture iced coffee and my partner asked for something strong, flavorful and delicious. When I went to order, the rude employee outside said real curtly, "I can't hear her". This already put a poor taste in my mouth, but I let it slide. The employee seemed irritated while offering suggestions for my partners coffee. When he tried to pay with apple pay, the card reader didn't recognize it. The employee asked if he would like to try a card. He tried the apple pay again and the employee asked again rudely if he'd like to try a card. We tried the card and it turned out her card reader wasn't working, so we were asked to pay at the window.
We paid and got the drinks. Mine was okay. My partner's was not fully blended and there was a clear half and half separation from the coffee to the blended ice. We drove back to the drive thru and asked for a different drink. This seemed to be a huge imposition on the employee. Another suggestion was made, as well as a new drink. While the new drink was being made we could clearly hear the employee talking about what an a-h*le my partner is. The new drink was sent out and spilling, so the employee wiped it on his dirty apron and gave it to my partner. The drink continued to spill as we left and we ended up tossing it and getting starbucks. This is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing and two coffees are definitely not worth $15. Read moreMy family and I used to really really enjoy coming to Dutch Bros but it seems the last few years they have really gone down hill especially the location that is in Auburn close to hwy 80 freeway entrance. The drinks lack flavor and the overall quality that it used to have. After deciding to give Dutch Bros another chance after going other places for over a year today it was the worst it has ever been. I ordered the Chocolate Crunch Cold Brew and it was horrible! All I literally tasted was strong bitter cold brew. No flavoring and zero sweetness of any kind. Also, when the girl approached our vehicle to take our order I explained to her that it's been awhile since we've been there and if she could let know what their "featured" drinks were and she seemed very annoyed and clueless to what the drinks even were. She even said "I don't know what they are" and all I got from her was a blank look and "I don't know" with anything I asked. Customer service is definitely lacking.
When it comes to the drinks, It almost feels like they're trying to skimp on using too much products because their trying to save money or something but in the long run they're only going to hurt themselves doing that bc they're going to start losing business. Their quality of drinks, friendliness and upbeat atmosphere was some of the main things that used to really have Dutch Bros stand out from their competitors and I know I'm not the only one to feel this way but I truly miss the old ways of Dutch Bros.
