I don't normally leave negative feedback like this, because every restaurant has an off day. But yesterday (6/17/24) was probably one of the most disgusting experiences I ever had in a restaurant. You can tell how unclean the Friendly's in Auburn, MA is as soon as you walk in. Just look at the walls. But that's not even the worst part. At one point before our food arrived, I got up to go to the bathroom. This is where is gets really gross. You could tell the bathroom had not been clean in several days. Urination all over the floor, which had to be from several people, with how much there was. So your dancing around that to get to the toilet. Then I go to wash my hands, NO SOAP! So now me and other customers are expected to go eat their meal after coming back from a disgusting bath and not being able to wash your hands. What's even worse is you know darn well that employees have used that bathroom and knew about everything I am telling you and they still did nothing about it or say anything, and also went back to work handling our food! This is out of pure laziness for the manager and the rest of the employees. If this is the way they are going to run this restaurant, SHUT IT DOWN! Only when I said something is when the manager took care of it. That's really sad, I should not have to say clean you bathroom and put some soap in there for the manager to finally do so. The manager should already be on top of that. This is the same review I emailed to the Friendly's Restaurant headquarters. I am not normally a complainer but this was absolutely disgusting. You know a restaurant has to be pretty bad when I sit down to write this kind of review. The food at Friendly's is pretty decent. But in this review I rated the food a 1 out of 5 due to the fact that most likely some of the employees had to of went back to work handling food without washing their hands. Read moreWitnessed the slow death of this Friendly's yesterday. Over ten minutes to get drinks and as I spoke of leaving my child cried that she wanted ice cream, so we stayed. What a mistake! We Arrived around 5:45 Did not receive food until almost 6:30. Our food was a Doritos burger and a munchie mania plate that contained chicken tenders, French fries, and sliders. We received mozzarella sticks, loaded waffle fries and the sliders. 1 out of 3 correct and we only ate half of 1 of the 2 sliders because they were terribly dry. The server apologized and then brought us the chicken tenders. Then my 6yr old pulled a hair out of their overcooked tender before she tried to eat it. I don't know why we paid for our food because we didn't eat any of it. I understand they were understaffed but no one had any sense of direction or communication. I watched a family go to the bathroom and when they came back someone cleared their table and sat other patrons. Another table complained about terrible food and also someone who came to pick up their food waited a half hour. When that person checked their order, they complained about the quality of the food and said they would never return to this restaurant. I don't give this place much longer before it is gone! They should have kept the Sturbridge Friendly's instead...
Read moreOur experience was so horrible that I need to post on it. We were seated and forgotten about. After 7 mins I flagged down a server to try and get drinks. The waitress was obviously in a bad mood already because she said "I'm not your waitress" and walked away. Another party came in after us and their order was taken before ours. That's when we decided to leave. Upon leaving I spoke to the gentleman that sat us and told him no one has come to the table since you sat us. The moody waitress was standing at the register and butted into the convention with some unprofessional negativity. I told her we were not speaking to her, we were explaining why we were leaving to the gentleman. The waitress got aggressive with me and called me "Karen" She did not have on a name tag of course. She had black hair and super white teeth. We were there at 4:30 on Wednesday the 22nd of May.We had just came from a funeral and could not believe the way we were treated. We never got and food all we left with was the unprofessional attitude from this waitress. I hope you can ck the cameras and see exactly what went on. That waitress represented your store.
