I’ve been to Indian Palace at least three or four times, and each visit has been disappointing in some way—whether it’s the service or the staff’s attitude. However, my most recent experience was the worst and truly unacceptable.

My partner and I decided to have dinner there and ordered goat biryani, butter naan, and the tandoori mix grill. There were two young waitresses working that evening, and both seemed to have an air of arrogance and a lack of basic hospitality. When we requested water, it took them an eternity to bring it to us, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy.

We also had a coupon for mango lassi, which should have been a nice addition to our meal. However, what they did was downright shocking. Before serving the lassi, the waitress poured out a portion of it into another glass and brought us what was clearly a reduced amount. We were absolutely appalled by this behavior—it felt deceitful and incredibly unprofessional.

As for the food, only the goat biryani met our expectations. The rest of the meal was forgettable and far from worth the price we paid.

This experience was a major red flag for us. Despite everything, we still left a tip as a gesture of goodwill, but I can confidently say that I will not be returning to Indian Palace. Their poor service, unprofessional staff, and questionable practices have completely lost...

I would have given no star if I could but one star was the minimum to move forward. I was discriminated against immediately upon my arrival. The look of disgust was on two of the workers faces when I walked in. I was seated at a noticeably unclean table. There was urine all over the toilet seat, the sink and floor was also filthy . My dogs kennel is way more sanitary than this establishment. Our server threw things on the table instead of placing it down or handing it to us. I thought things couldn’t get any worse but I thought wrong. The portion of food I received for what I paid was enough for a toddler to eat. I will never eat here again. The customer service and atmosphere is awful. Don’t eat here if you are against discrimination. I’m just a black man who is likes Indian food I didn’t know I would be treated terribly for attempting to indulge in different food. This place reminded me of Indian street vendor videos I seen on instagram reels.. FILTH WAS OF...

This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in town, especially if you appreciate real, unapologetic spice. Their heat scale (1–10) actually delivers—unlike places that tone it down for timid palates. I usually order a 7, and it gives me the perfect fiery kick. I have ordered inside the restaurant and had no table wait time and the wait for the food was reasonable as well as take out. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality justifies it. This isn’t the spot for chicken nuggets or kid-friendly fare; it’s for adults who want rich, bold flavors (and maybe a sweat-inducing meal). My go-to is the lamb vindaloo with naan—every bite has been incredible. Also, make sure to check their hours before heading over, as they close for a break between lunch and dinner. Highly recommend for anyone craving an authentic, spice-forward experience!

The hospitality was top notch. They actually opened early for us. The owner came to chat with us multiple times, ensuring quality of the food and our experience, and also telling us his stories. Appetizers: paneer pakora (mild and delicious) and channa chaat (spicy! But so delicious). There were 2 sauces with crackers that were phenomenal: mint/basil and another that I can only describe as an Indian type barbeque sauce. For dinner we had goat curry (very spicy, level 8), goan shrimp curry (spice level 4), and fish tikka masala (mild, but still had some heat). They were wonderful about asking for our heat preferences. But even the milder dishes had a slow buildup of heat. For cooling and dessert, we had a mango lassi. We left with full bellies, full hearts, and full leftover boxes for tomorrow.
