The Pawms Pet Resort Auburn — Local services in Auburn

The pet resort seems great, however I will say that we were a little disappointed. It was our first time at Pawms and had higher expectations with the whole "new guest" process/experience. There wasn't a greeting of first timers at drop off, and when we picked up, our pups were brought out to us with no report or words of how it went. We live out of town but have a place in Auburn. We boarded our 2 dogs in a luxury room for one night and added daycare. One of them being a pup of 4 months, it was his first boarding experience which we made known. It was a little frustrating that we had not one staff member mention how he did or even introduce us to the facility at check in or out. We dropped off around 8am, picked up around 10:30 the next day. We didn't see any dogs outside, but maybe we didn't understand the concept of the resort. The amount of $ spend on a luxury space for the night plus daycare and paid extra for baths, it would have been nice to hear some sort of verbiage on how our pups did with the new experience, especially our 4 month old first time boarder. I used to take my dogs to pet palace before the pawms took over the location. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment with the pawms since it changed from pet palace. i have never been able to call the same day and get an appointment. When you use the online portal to request services as they recommend there is no call, text or email confirmation to let you know the appointment is booked or not. The online portal is extremely clunky and not user friendly. It is hard to find the services needed. When we have taken our dogs here the dogs were treated well and looked great after an appointment but every time I have had to call to ask if they were ready for pickup because no one called. I once got a call telling me that my dogs were ready for pickup after I had already picked them up. I am fed up with the appointment system and will be looking for another groomer...

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! My lil Bennie girl has always been use to the same environment and people being shes just a pup! We recently moved to Auburn and I travel often for work! So finding the best place to call home for her while I'm away was more than important! I came across PAWMS (and a few other places) but from the jump Emery took the time to answer all my sporadic questions and invited me to try it out before I committed. She was confident in the services offered. Now we call PAWMS Bennie girls home away from home! Emery and Alexus are the best! They always tell me how much our girl is loved!
