I have been a regular here since I've moved to this town. My partner and I order on an almost weekly basis. We usually order the same thing each time; but occasionally, we'll switch it up. Once, about a month or two ago, we ordered a large cheese pizza. It was undercooked, doughy, and the seasoning they add was not spread evenly throughout causing some bites to be entirely seasoning, which is quite off-putting. I had gone back to the store to Inform them of the undercooked, improperly prepared food. As a former manager in food service, myself, I figured informing them so they may be conscious of this for quality control, and to perhaps make an exchange for an edible pizza. When I arrived, described the issues, and asked for an exchange the Manager on shift, Tracy, asked what I'd like her to do about it. I requested a new one and placed the pizza on the counter, she rolled her eyes and stated she was not able to take that one back over the counter and prepared the new one, snippily asking her staff to ensure the seasoning was evenly distributed throughout. She had seemed a little upset, but I had assumed she was merely disappointed in the crew's preparation during a possibly busy shift. I thanked them for correcting the mistake. took both pizzas home, but since the first was not edible, It was thrown away. Just last night, we had decided to order once more, but wanted to switch up from our usual and try the chicken tenders. After ordering, I brought them home only to realize the breading was overcooked and burnt on one side and nearly uncooked on the other. The meat within had some grisly chunky bits, and was rather off putting as a whole. We had found this to be the case with both orders we had received and I had gone back to the store to request a refund, as I no longer had an appetite. The same manager, Tracy, was there. I describe the issue with the chicken, showing her the overcooked and undercooked sides of the chicken, and described the quality of the meat. When I requested the refund, she looked at me, switches to a mocking tone and said, "I remember you. You had gotten a free pizza before as you didn't 'like how the seasoning was'. So, no, I will not be getting you a refund. Tonight is not the night for that". I was shocked! My partner and I have been constant, almost weekly customers that are always beyond kind to staff. To the point that we are told we are nicer than most that come in. To receive this treatment for holding you accountable for charging us for undercooked food that was improperly made and poses a risk to our health and safety. Tracy was being rather confrontational so, hungry and rather upset, I simply left after getting her name. If this is the service that this store provides; I do not believe I will be returning. This behavior is not very befitting of someone in the...
Read moreUPDATED ADDED 9/30/24: My partner went back and spoke with the general manager. This behavior was condemned as inappropriate by him and we were given a $25 gift certificate back. However our meal was little over $26 and we were informed Tracy should have refunded us night of, and that it was too late to process a refund now. I will have to contact my bank on this now sadly. And Pat's has lost us as customers for good. A gift card is supposed to be compensation for the trouble faced. He was bullied and yelled at by an employee, and had to return to the store twice. I'm sorry but we are in a capitalist society and compensation is owed if customer loyalty is wanted. Increased one star for the general managers attempt.
ORIGINAL: I will be contacting the local news, the food inspectors and my bank.
Back in july our pizza was made improperly. It was inedible. "Tracy" replaced the pizza rightfully after we politely requested.
Tonight, they served us 2 orders of tenders that were both burnt and raw at the same time. the batter was burnt in spots and doughy in others, and the meat was super grisly. We were not able to eat even one. My partner goes to return them and ask if something can be done and "Tracy" rudely goes "No, I remember you, you used this last time to get a free pizza, tonights not the night for that" EXCUSE ME??? Tonights not the night for you to do your JOB???
No Tracy. We are holding you accountable for charging us for food that was improperly made and poses a risk to our health and safety. This is NOT okay and your attitude is everything wrong with the world right now. People need jobs and people like you are ungratefully taking up CUSTOMER SERIVICE positions and turning into a BULLY towards kind customers. I KNOW my partner and I have been CONSTANT, almost WEEKLY customers that are ALWAYS BEYOND kind to staff. To the point that we are told we are nicer than most that come in. So to be treated this way by a woman who claims to be a manager?? Unacceptable.
EVERY tender looked like these images. Burn on the underside, raw ontop.
If this is not resolved and us refunded for this abhorrent treatment, I will be contacting my bank with TEMPURATURE AND PHOTO evidence that this food was never even...
Read moreWe enjoyed a fabulous veggie pizza with those fabulous thin slices crispy pepperoni added. I was blessed by my moms company Today would have been her 67 wedding anniversary to my dad Athen. We were delighted when my husband Dr Kippax was able to join us today. As always at Pat's Pizza, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was working hard serving their customers. We were pleasantly greeted by our waitress. Our order was taken quickly. We had a beautiful view overlooking the Androscoggin River. Although it was rainy,we still enjoyed the view. Our pizza arrived very quickly and it was cooked to perfection. Yummy!! We enjoyed our lunch at Pat's Pizza. We chatted about the many books we had found eariler in the day at the local book store. We enjoyed our pizza and made our afternoon plans to go about Lewiston, Auburn and Turner. I highly recommend Pat's Pizza on Center St, Auburn,...
