I was asked to pull up in drive thru Aug 13th at about 930pm because of a drive thru timer right after I paid for my food. There was No one behind me in the drive thru. We didnt understand why we were being askes thay so we simply asked why we needed to pull up then the girl at the drive thru Window INSTANTLY got extremely rude, the shift manager then got rude and a cook in the back came out to see who they were talking about as they all talked about paying customers right in our faces laughing and carrying on. I work in fast food and have never spoke to anyone like that nor acted like that and would be written up or fired if I had. I always taken care of the customers wants/needs with respect no matter what they ask. After we told them there is no one behind us we didn't want to pull up they told us we can pull up or refund our money (which would have been fine if they had not gotten so nasty) but they would need our (half drank) lemonade back which I know ur not supposed to take anything back in the drive thru. I got my refund asked for a receipt of refund then was sarcastically asked for my first receipt back intentionally trying to be rude as possible after all that I left and went to kfc down the road and was treated with much more respect as a paying customer should. The girl at the window, women cooking in the back and what I assume was the shift manager should have acted in a more professional manner and respected a customers wishes being that I just paid for my food and there is no one behind me again I'm the customer and I'm paying not your time clock. For a shift manger or whoever he was to allow a cooks and associate to talk and laugh about paying customers infront of them should be fired along with the associates. Obviously you shouldn't be in customer service because if that was one of them Im sure they wouldn't like to be talked to like that and talked about in your face after u just paid for a service. The things these...
Read moreThis is probably the worst Popeyes location I've been to, although it is simultaneously one of the cleaner ones I've been to so that's a plus.
For the record, Bojangles is the best in this area, but it's a good bit further up the road for me. Not that they don't have their problems as well.
Update:
Well, went ahead and dropped my review to two stars. To be a little more specific than my original review, I'll actually explain why.
If you swing by near closing (near being any time within an hour of closing time), you better hope they've got enough of whatever kind of chicken you want between the spicy or mild options. If they don't, they're going to sneak in a few pieces of whatever they do have and hope you don't notice. Well, I do. I'd prefer you just ask me if I want to wait for you to make some, but I know the real issue is that the lazy prick cooking doesn't want to well... cook.
If you don't like chicken that hasn't been left out too long, you also don't want to bother with this place.
And speaking of that little "trick" they like to do when they start running out of a certain kind of chicken and might have to do their job and cook some more, they do something similar when they overcook a batch of chicken. So you end up with a few overcooked pieces and a few decent pieces. I've literally had chicken from these clowns that was so overcooked the meat of the chicken turned into mush while I was trying to pull it off the bone. REALLY Popeyes? Really?
I'll leave the fact that some of the workers are unfriendly as hell as a side complaint, though that's a general problem with alot of workers...
Read moreWent through the drive-thru and patiently waited in line for at least 20 minutes. All I ordered was a large Cajun fries. When I finally made it up to the window and paid for my order she handed me a bag with a small box of fries. I asked if that was supposed to be large and she said that they were out of the large boxes. I pointed out that I was charged for a large fries and she again told me that they were out of large boxes. I pointed out that I always get a large box full of fries and she gave me a small box full of fries but still charged me for a large. The manager shouted out that they were out of large boxes and I told her that they shouldn't have charged me for a large if they didn't have a large. She told the young lady to give me a second "small" box of fries to go with the first box I already received. Still wasn't enough to make a large but I left at this point. I immediately started to eat them while heading home and both boxes were barely even warm. That particular store almost always gets people's orders wrong and has messed mine up the last 3 times I went there. I figured that surely I could just order fries and get what I paid for, but I was wrong! At least they're consistent. I know several people who always have had problems there and they warned me not to go to that store. I wish that I would have taken...
