Waffle House — Restaurant in Auburn

So I got time today. Nice pleasant atmosphere. All was pleasant good time being had. Myself and a friend ordered the All-Star Specials. Waffles came out ...then eggs, grits, toast a warm up for the coffee and we began to eat. Food was Good... service good...bill comes. Oops we didn't get our breakfast meats (sausage/bacon). I bring it to the waitress attention "Hi everything was great food was good, got caught up in conversation and we overlooked that we never received our sausage/bacon could this just be deducted from the bill? I see it's $5 could we just get that deducted. Waitress apologizes and takes the ticket to the supervisor. Waitress brings the ticket back I take a look at it and the charges have been itemized causing me to have to pay a $1 more than my original meal ordered. I said to the supervisor ma'am how are you going to force me into itemizing when the original order was 2 All-Star Breakfast. Just deduct the $5 per the era made? Well I have to do it like this she says ...No my original order was this: 2 All-Star Breakfast and your trying to make me pay a itemized bill if I wanted to order it that way I would have done as such. I just paid the Damn Bill!! Cause it wasn't registering with her! Moral of the story just should have demanded the damn meat tossed it took it or gave it away. Paid my original Bill!!! My waitress gets 4stars, Cook gets 3stars lil forgetful... Supervisor needs retraining on customer service and basic courtesy.. No...

I love Waffle House, and this is probably by far the best location I’ve been at! Not sure why everyone has gave such poor reviews, I think that they think everyone is Superman and Wonder Woman when it does get busy in food places! I have came here numerous times at different parts of the day, even on busy days and they frequently are cleaning not only around the store, but always clear up spots as quick as possible while still waiting on guests coming in and dining. My server that always seems to be there when I dine in is Chris (I think that’s how they spell it) and they are absolutely wonderful. Everyone there is friendly and has a great personality. The food hasn’t let me down and the service keeps me coming back. I have never once had to wait over 3-5 minutes for a table (Which I still wouldn’t mind waiting that amount or longer, I think folks have gotten so impatient during this pandemic.) and when you give them a chance they won’t...

Came in on Sunday, knew there would be a wait, did not expect to have empty dirty tables, empty dirty tall and low bars, did NOT expect to see wait staff standing around drinking drinks, looking at cell phones.... we watched them clean the table tops with the same rags they used to clean the seats... we watched the cooks standing around with nothing to cook, not helping the wait staff, we were told "that's not my section" one girl had to call one of the young men out of the back to take his order to the table. Again we knew there would be a wait due to being busy, but NOT because no one works together and being lazy. We didn't get the food at the same time, my eggs were cold before my husband got his plate and then his food was wrong.
