Waldo's Chicken & Beer — Restaurant in Auburn

Yesterday I went to get the chicken sandwich at 12:10pm, and instead I received chicken tenders- I didn't even have the energy to go back to get my food corrected because I made it back to work. You all need to make sure the customers' orders are correct before you give it to them. This is totally unacceptable. Yes, I should have checked my food before I left, but she repeated my order to me at the window, and I told her that is the correct order...Smh! And another thing, I think it's ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS to charge for a combo and no drink is included. I paid $14+ for my meal with no drink. Since you all decided to add new items to the menu, you need to add the drinks to a combo. We shouldn't have to pay for that separately. I don't know how long this place will be in business in Auburn, AL.

We went to Waldo's Chicken & Beer this evening after seeing a recommendation from someone in a local food group and it was WAY better than I expected. We were greeted by a gentleman who I'm assuming was the owner. He immediately filled us in on their offerings and how it all worked. It's a typical counter service restaurant where they bring your food out to you but clean up after you. We ordered the fried pickles and they were excellent. Then we got the "Feed the Flock Tender Meal" and that came with 12 tenders, coleslaw and two sides. We chose fries (so thankful they are not crinkle fries!), mac and cheese and it also came with cheddar biscuits. That comfortably fed four people. One of my sons ordered the Fowl Mouth Chicken Sandwich and was very happy with it. Zero complaints, full bellies, great flavor and the perfect crisp. I have been going to waldos 1-3 times a week for the past 2 months. I have fallen in love with the food and beer menu. I have gotten to a “regular status” with 2 of the bartenders but tonight(08/22/2025 @ 5:30pm) my finance and I entered the Resturant as usual, and headed to order at the bar. The Bartender(one who which always has a dirty attitude) looks at me standing at the bar and yells at my fiancé at the booth section to bring her ID. I stated that my finance was not drinking and the bartender responded “well then what are you doing here then?” I told her I was there to grab me a drink and my table some appetizers but she rolled her eyes.
