Wendy's — Restaurant in Auburn

Today 3/9/23 at 1240 pm I went inside to order a plain junior bacon cheeseburger and a plain dollar menu chicken sandwich. An older gentlemen ordered before me a fish sandwich. After we ordered the crew focused only on drive thru for over 6 minutes. Then a bunch of basketball players came in with a 91$ order and everyone starts getting all their food together while me and the guy before me are standing there waiting and waiting 10 more minutes to be ignored. The gentlemen asks if there is a problem with his order and the rude lady manager stepped in with a loud voice saying he had to be patient and they just got a 91$ order and they are short staffed with an attitude. We wait 5 more minutes while they continue to get the 91$ order after us together. Guy asks for refund and she says no it's coming now meanwhile all the sandwiches coming down the cashier is opening to see which is which. It comes out then she hands me my order and I make sure that the order is both plain like I asked and she lied and said yes to get me out of there. Also my boyfriend was wondering where I was after 20 minutes and they had locked the doors not allowing anyone to come in so he couldn't get inside nor would they answer phones. I leave check my order when I was in a rush and late for work hop on highway go to open sandwiches and both are completely not what I ordered. I try calling multiple times with no answer. Worst customer service I've ever seen and they had the nerve to give us attitude and get loud with us when we were waiting on our food way before the 91$ order came in and they tend to them first. Whatever happened to first come first serve and I know for a fact our food was sitting up there that whole time but they chose to give it to the 91$ order and give me random sandwiches. So unacceptable and I will get my money back and the right food when someone decides to answer and im making a complaint because it was ridiculous and I felt so bad for the gentlemen in front of me. Noone should be waiting over 20 min for food when they are next to be served and it was simple orders and I'm furious they would lock the door not to let anyone in. Get it...

I don't even know how to rate this any lower.

Used the drove through. When I pulled up to the speaker I was greeted with absolute silence for over 2 minutes. When I announced my presence I was told quite curtly "wait a minute" I did. I gave the order (2 bacon cheeseburgers and 2 small fries) not a difficult order. 8 minutes later (2 cars infront of me) I arrive at the window only to sit another 3 minutes before my order was handed out the window. I start to pull away and my SO realizes that the order is wrong. Not the food we ordered. Soo. I park the truck and go inside. Wow. What a disaster this place is. There are 3 customers waiting at the counter for food 1 waiting to order and the only front counter person is back in the prep area talking to people. The manager is walking around with an empty bag and commenting on how the people at the drive through need to calm down and be patient. I stood and waited another 6 minutes before I was asked "is there something you need" why yes I just went through the drive through line and received the wrong order. He takes the bag and says "so this is not what you want" I explained I ordered bacon cheeseburgers. I got 2 burgers. He (I think) turned and walked to prep overhearing "he thinks he didn't get what he ordered" another 3 minutes later (with other customers who pulled out of the drive through piling up at the order counter) he came out and handed me my bag with "sorry"

Not having the time to wait (since I am nearly 30 minutes into a grab and go order) I left. We'll. The burgers were hot, the cheese was not melted, the bread was actually COLD like it just came from the cooler.

I'm not sure where anyone thinks this is appropriate handling of customers or a restaurant. But it was almost 5pm and no one was ready for anything. Everything I ordered should have been ready to go. Folks should NOT be rude and for God sake. Even If you want me to wait at the speaker. Acknowledge the presence. ...

This is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Every single table in the place was dirty. Lots of dust and I don’t even know what all around the tables and on the floor. Floor looks like it never gets washed. Every single part of the soda machine was sticky. No matter what part of that machine you touched it was sticky all over. The floor around it which was probably about like 10 feet around the entire machine was all sticky. The machine itself was obviously broken and leaking water all the way over to the tables. The floor behind the counter was also nasty with food and grease everywhere. We had to point out all the water from the soda machine to them so no one would fall. Not to mention the drinks didn’t even taste right. There was no way the kid behind that counter couldn’t see that, whom was just standing there doing nothing. I didn’t even get what I ordered. We also ordered a bacconater that only had a few crumbles of bacon on it. What’s that point of its name if there is hardly any bacon on it. I can’t even imagine what the rest of the kitchen looks like. After all that we just threw our food out and left. Didn’t even want to eat from there, out of disgust. Had I known I could have left photos in this review I would have taken photos. Maybe the owner should do a surprise visit just to see how this place...
