Buyer Beware
I miss the good old days where the customer was always right and the employees / management didn't correct the customer.
I ordered food for my wife at 5:03 on 11/19/24.
She had a hook and ladder every thing on it, no onions add O/V.
I ordered a steamer. Now mind you I already know it doesn't come with LTM whatever... So after having a condiment conversation with the register girl I said I'd like everything on my steamer who then asked me if I wanted pickles as well and any on the side.
Well, 45 minutes later I get home from getting food for the kiddos I open my sandwich box to find a slab of bread with meat and cheese. Not my type of sandwich. 8 wanted everything on it.
So I call and explain my circumstances. Person who answered the phone proceeded to correct me and say my statement of everything on a sub was left to interpretation..... That really riled me up.
I got in the car arrived shortly after 6 pm to find the store while still open had already started shutting down for the night. Chairs up and everything...
I spoke with the manager who. Had me explain my issue again...see above.. who then explained if you want special items you have to ask for them and promptly instructed me on how to order food at their location.
Again with someone telling a customer they are wrong.
I promptly demanded my money back and wished not to argue. Manager of course did offer to make a new sandwich.. at this point I lost time, didn't eat dinner with my wife and kids and now I'm going to eat by myself and on top of that be extremely mad? At this point I. So furious you could give me a porterhouse and lobster and I wouldn't eat it.
Needless to say I will NEVER, again, eat at this fire house subs. While I may have been upset at the situation employees and management should never ever correct the customer and should ask questions if things are left to "interpretation". I'm appalled at this an l will never get this time back with my family let alone the sour mood I'm in now due to these circumstances.
Not what you want to have when coming home from work. So, my mood gave me a one way ticket to the shower and going to bed on an empty...
Read moreThe wait was astronomical. I mobile ordered three subs. It told me my order was going to be ready at 7:55. I got in early. I waited patiently for my order. It was about 7:58 when I realized my sibs weren't here so I kindly just asked if they received it. The lady said it should be ready in 15 minutes because they are backed up. They guy said oh no it'll be at least 20. I was like "oh alright then" because I had expected it to be ready by now. I did wait the 20 minutes for what was said. Then I waited about 10 minutes after that. I was very hungry. While I was waiting I was watching other people dealing with the same problem. They apparently were really backed up but they weren't really that busy. Only about two people actually were eating subs that they ordered for here. Most of us were just waiting for our orders. I understand that it was busy but the wait was too long to really be justified especially since I had pre placed the order on the app. The sub was good but I had better at the Winter Haven and merchants walk location. Read moreI recently visited this store, sadly it was not nice, it was a hard time, very bad experience, the N.Y sandwich. It was empty empty I couldn't believe what they put in meat was almost nothing, it's not the first time I've bought it and they had never served a sandwich like this empty in different establishments, when I make the claim and I show them the empty sandwich in the store, one of the employees shows the sandwich and explains how the white employee can see that the sandwich is empty, she was very antisocial and with a bad face, she said that she couldn't put more meat, if you look at the advertisement for the sandwich that they display for you can see plenty of meat to top it all off. when I get home and give my little son the jamaican sandwich which is supposed to be served as specified in the order, I ordered just turkey and cheese, they added super spicy dressing, my little son couldn't eat it because it was very spicy, I paid to lose my money for the bad service and a bad moment, I put 0 star to...
