Belly Kitchen — Restaurant in Augusta

Customer service is 🗑 I had placed a doordash order, and the dasher never delivered my order, she never called me either to tell me she was lost and couldn’t find my apartment building. She also never sent a picture to show the order was delivered! I had my husband go outside to see if she was in the parking lot, nope! So I contact doordash to get a refund because my order was never received after I had been waiting an hour and a half! Also I tipped the driver generously to deliver my order, if your lost you call, like a normal person! Common sense ain’t so common.. anywho, I still wanted the food from this place so I re placed my order but for pick up, so I wouldn’t have this issue again! Now I get there and I’m waiting for my order, they are taking a long time, and other people who did doordash or Uber had got their food who had came in a minute before me and after. So finally after 15-20 mins the lady tells me if I’m the lady who placed my order through doordash, I said yes! She said the dasher said she delivered your order and pretty much calling me a LIAR! Now if I was “lying” why would I come back to this same place and place the exact same order but come pick it up? Please make it make sense! The lady I was talking to was very rude talking bout “ima get my money regardless “ well you need to talk to the dasher because she’s obviously lying! She never delivered my order and for you to even speak to a customer like that, and question me, is unprofessional! I have ordered from y’all before and loved the food. I work hard for my money and ain’t no BUM! Definitely ain’t the type to play games and cheat companies out of their business! This says a lot about you and your company! I will never be ordering from y’all ever again and I will be telling people about how unprofessional y’all...

My grandson drove passed on a Sunday or Monday of this past week. He learned they were closed Mon/Tues/Wed. He stopped in on last night placed an order for shrimp and chicken wings beef cheesesteak and fries. The food was very tasty but portions for the price was not proportionate. He said the shrimp (I have some extra large shrimp and sea scallops in my freezer that I will prepare for him) were very small and he had a serving of 5 or 6 wings (not whole) to be exact. He’s eaten in various restaurants in major cities! I on the other hand was satisfied with my beef cheese steak (topped with lettuce and tomatoes, I liked! I anticipated the cheesesteak being a bit larger in portion but was gratifying. I had fries (tiny little things-NOT hard) that were still warm and they were tasty! Neither were overly salty, but...

This was my first time ordering and will not be my last. I ordered fried green tomatoes, a sidw order of greens, fried and grilled shrimp 🍤. No heavy batter on the shrimp either 😳 That's love. Everything was phenomenal. Never could have have imagined it tasting so good. Far exceeded my expectations. My turn up was juice in the greens, and I hadn't finished the greens. It just taste so good the impulse was to drink the juice. Yes, FOODGASM! Curled up in a fetal position in the bed as my understanding of food was shown in a unique perspective. And they have huge slices 🍰of cake for dessert. Whatever they are doing at Belly Kitchen don't stop please. No way that food should taste this good. It makes love to your taste buds and puts you to sleep after...
