Waffle House — Restaurant in Augusta

This was the first time we went to this Waffle House and it was a horrible experience. Our waitress did not even bother to actually stand in front of our table or even face us to take the order. And we had even decided to sit in the table right next to the register just to make it easier for her. She was not quite polite and would only pay attention to the people sitting at the bar just trying to flirts with her. I don’t mind that but at least give us a little attention when taking our orders and not just take our order with you facing towards them and her side towards us. We we’re going to eat there but then decided to take out before we even made our order and we let her know we we’re doing take out instead before she took our order. Now what made us very upset was that we pues with card and added just a small tip because we we’re not very satisfied with her service, my husband said to not leave anything, he was very upset as well. But I still wanted to be nice and at least leave something. Now what made me really upset was that earlier this morning I checked my bank account and it said they had taken $10 more than what we had set to plan. Meaning there must have been an alteration done to the tip we made. I am very upset about this. Because I personally was a server once and don’t mind leaving a good tip, but this was the first time someone has been very unprofessional towards us and I left a small tip this time. Now don’t get us wrong the Manager that night, he was the cook too, he was very polite, he was making sure all his order were taken care of. I go to WH all the time especially the one by my house (southgate) I went there yesterday 5/20/23 the food was great but our waitress was on a personal phone call while ringing me out. I asked for a coffee to go and she didn't even hear me cause she was so busy talking on the phone. Then I asked again and she had an attitude about it. I said if you weren't talking on the phone you would've heard me. Then I just said forget it. Then today 5/21/23 I go to the same WH again the food was fast and good but our waitress again was just a bad attitude. She forgot to top the hash Browns she did not bring out silverware till after our food was already on the table and we were waiting and I Didn't get my waffle until I was already done eating and ready to leave. I got a story. My buddy and I both soldiers stationed at Ft. Gordon not long ago visited this "fine" establishment in hopes of some waffles and omelets. Now we noticed they were pretty busy but we were determined. We found a spot to sit no problem right in the front not at a table. 5 mins go by not even a hello be right with you. 10 mins go by nothing so I'm getting a little irritated.
