Southgate — Local services in Augusta

Alot of places there and in the area to eat and shop the only thing I don't like is that because im a disabled Veteran I have to use a grocery cart for medical reasonsand I have been denied access with my cart to Rose and only roses I go in the other clothing stores with no problem. , I don't steal though I know some people do. All my medical stuff i s in my cart and I don't feel I should have to leave my cart at the desk when someone may go thru it. I've had this problem and I feel that camaras will show if I'm a thief or when I go out the door. Most are very nice at Roses its only a few black females there that treat me badly as a bkack women it depends on who's there ive been inside many times with my cart. , a woman with long grey braids is very nasty, I don't see them doing white customers that way, its just terrible to me, but the other ladies at Roses are mostly nice Ive shopped there since I was a child and never took nothing that wasn't mine or that I didn't pay for I will still go but now I have to pay family to take me instead if taking ghe bus which cost more to leave my cart and personal...

It's always crowded. Customer service desk needs more help, another register and friendlier management. Everyone here is there for a paycheck and you can tell they are not trained very long in customer service.

The Harveys grocery store carries good prices on meats that kill the black community stocking with high pork ....and the chickens that are big n plump from steroids.😒 The shelf items are tagged .75 cents to $1.25 more than your other local chains..You think you're saving,No....they get you with the few items you get other than meat. The variety and selections are few and limited. If you're on a fitness plan....this wouldn't be the place to shop for organic or specialty teas, oils, the better...

This place is home to some, maintenance is sloppy, office manager is not people friendly, they lie will throw own workers under the bus, if something needs doing give it 2 wks, if go to talk about late payment you will be told we can work with you, next thing you know, you have 3 days to go. What about the lady that passed out from heat stroke, her air conditioner needed service & she was staying upstairs, coroner couldn't get up there...
