This kills me because I remember having a great experience with Happy China 2 in the past, but the last 3 times i have ordered delivery from here has been miserable. The first bad experience was that my food was cold and in my opinion undercooked. the rice was hard like it was barely cooked. The egg roll was the wrong one and my son is allergic to seafood (it was shrimp). The second time i waited for 1 hour and 30 min and decided to call to figure out what the problem was. They said that no worries my food was on the way.. in my head i was concerned because i didn't want chicken thats been done for over an hour sitting in a car. I said ok and waited… and waited… 45 minutes passed and i called again. They told me that the driver could not find me… yet the same driver delivered to me 1 week before AND i called and asked and they said everything was fine. They didn't bother to call me back. So i gave them the address again and explained how to get here. its right off washington road.. simple. For my inconvenience al they offered me was a free drink… seriously… and i said id like coke… they gave me tea… i hate tea. I thought for sure since the food is over 2 hours old they would cook me new food. When it finally 30 min later got here it was cold and smelled sour. The driver even said he remembered me, so why did you get lost. Today its masters week and everywhere is crazy and its the closest Chinese delivery… I tried one more time…. this time i did the online ordering so that they couldn't mess up the address or order by miscommunication…… i asked for extra soy sauce and a drink… i then did a follow up call 10 minutes later to confirm my order and to remind them of the extra soy sauce and drink… i called 40 minutes later because my food was still not here… they said my food was on the way… i asked if they remembered my extra soy sauce and drink she said yes… my food got here… there was no soy sauce except 1 packet for 7 people and no drink. the driver had no extra soy sauces in the car or anything…. None of these experiences warranted a free meal a discount or even a correct free drink...

I even got an email confirming everything. Almost an hour later, I call them to check up on my order. I gave her my name and told her I ordered online and I’m calling to confirm that it went through. She told me my order actually just left for delivery. Another hour and a half later, I had given up. We ordered from another restaurant, instead. In what sounded like a hastily created lie she told me we were 5.5 miles away and they would only deliver 4 miles. Thats not true though because we are 2.2 miles away and have ordered enough to become "regulars." We are not wealthy. We have very few options for food here in the food desert that is industrial Augusta. Well tonight we have lost another option. It is discouraging when your money is treated as though it is worth less than others who live in well built homes in wealthy neighborhoods. We can't even seem to pay for goods and services.
