OAK Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Augusta

Well first off the club is great inside and me and wife really enjoyed the hookah!! Vibe and the dj! Was lit and the bartenders was amazing and we chose this place because it was my wife birthday Nov18th by the way but on another note the vibe was disturbed by one of the security guards coming over to my wife and asking could she take off her hoodie which in deed was not a hoodie first in foremost it was a jacket night continued as we where trying to really enjoy my wife birthday the same security guard came over after she took her jacket off because it was hot inside we are drinking and smoking hookah so my wife took her jacket off to cool off and he told her she needed to put her jacket back on because she had on tanktop in which the manger who was managing last night also had on a tanktop same color both are women only difference is my wife is a stud and the manger is a feminine woman so my wife ask to speak to the manager directly because at this point it seem like harassment different color pants was the only difference so at this point we felt harass once again because most of woman wasn’t covered up including the bottle girls who didn’t have on fishnets under the uniforms so as the manger come over to our section and my wife is asking about the tanktop and why is that she needed to put her jacket back on when they are dress the same way the manger than says it’s the the way it looks so we kept asking what does that mean still no real answers than proceeded to blame the security team and she can’t go against them but it was very bias all the way around and seems as though they just wanted to make a issue with my wife and very uncomfortable especially because she is a stud because I sure if as the feminine woman as the manger was if I wearing the same tank top as u can see in the photos they are both where the same thing my wife has on a white jacket and manger back is turned I sure it would’ve been a issue at all so it seemed very targeted toward lesbian community and wasn’t okay at all and...

Been to the establishment a few times on a Wednesday. Always being in a section well. We decided to go grab food around 7pm on a Tuesday the bar was pretty full with 1 bartender and a manager walking around not doing anything but barking orders and not helping. The bartender finally comes to take our order the ppl that sat next to us grab here before she could even speak to us and placed their large order. Once we tell her we want 2 Rasta pastas she puts our order in sit there for over an hour the ppl next to us food comes out with multiple things missing. We sit there another 20 min and the bartender tells us we might as well leave b/c she doubts we will get our food b/c the kitchen was running out of things. Fast forward to today 11/25/23 we decided to try again and go for the brunch even that was being promoted. We arrive and sit at a table 20 min goes by no one came by at all I walked to the bar and asked if there was a waitress to help us someone send her. We order food a hookah and a tower along with 3 patron shots. We wait 40 min and nothing. Finally one persons food comes out another 27 min and the other 2 plates come out. Still no shots hookah or tower. I walk to the bar and ask for our waitress to come to our table she finally comes and says they ran out if Patron so we said we’ll take Don Julio. She brings the shots we ask about our hookah and tower she says she’ll be back 30 min goes by and nothing. I walk back to the bar and ask for our waitress. She comes we ask about the tower and the hookah she then says they ran out of towers and hookah flavors we just ask for our check and leave. Myself and my party came to celebrate my birthday here, we bought a section and quite a few bottles. Let me start off by saying I will NEVER come back to this club. Everything they advertised online was FALSE, as soon as we got there all the prices were different, they kept trying to charge more out of nowhere for anything, they even tried to charge me for more VIP wrist bands, $50 each! It made no sense to me because I had enough bands to cover everyone in my party already! I feel like they were just trying to get over and pocket money from us! And then the security literally stood by our table ALL night!!! About 4 of them! They kept barging threw everyone, bumping everyone and not saying excuse me, they were extremely rude! For the amount of money we spent that night, they treated us like garbage! Again I will NEVERRRR come here again. And on top of that, the music was trash.
