WifeSaver — Restaurant in Augusta

Anyone who has anything bad to say about WifeSaver probably needs an emergency taste bud adjustment or realignment. But, really should consider ripping it out and ordering a replacement for that dead strip of skin you call a tongue. WifeSaver has been a staple in the CSRA as long as I can remember. It was the special dinner for a week well done. It was McDonald's for Sunday's, so to speak. And now, almost 50 years later, it is still a treat.

Honestly, you can ask me about just about everything on the menu. I've had it all over the years. But, my meal. My go to meal that makes me feel all warm and tingly. The very thought of it makes me dizzy with instant hunger. 4-piece Mix Chicken Dinner. Macaroni and cheese and Broccoli Casserole for the sides. "What kind of bread?", they ask. "Is that a REAL question?", I shout back. I WANT MUFFINS❗❗❗ "Sweet Tea AND lemonade mix", I continue. "You mean a Arnold Palmer.", she mumbled. "An Arnold who?" Lights flash. I wake up in a cold sweat and look at the clock. 12:01, it reads. I jump out the bed like it was Christmas....

Ordered dinner for Father's Day. Called in advance and was told it would take 20 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes later and was told order was not ready. I understand it was Father's Day so the wait didn't bother me. That was the reason I arrived 10 minutes later than stated time. Ended up waiting 15 extra minutes to be told that certain parts of order would take longer but we could substitute for extra charge. After expressing frustration, got substitution for free. Finally got order but there were no utensils or plates. Asked could we please have utensils and plates and was told there would be a charge. My order was the family feastvand you have to pay for plates and utensils. You receive utensils with a $5 combo meal from McDonalds. Decided to just go to nearest Family Dollar and buy. Maybe the Fathers Day rush played a part, but the customer service was definitely sub par. I will say the food...

My company orders all the time but yesterday we spent $500 and it wasn’t worth $5. Turkey was so dry, dressing had a tart lemon taste, gravy tasted sour, pecan pie burnt. I thought someone else cooked this food honestly. I call and manager says she doesn’t understand and that we would have to bring the food back into the restaurant and then they can give more food or money back. First you want me to bring food back into restaurant umm health violation. We just order same thing for Thanksgiving and it was great. I asked was someone different cooking but she just wanted to act rude and tell me bring it back. Lost a great customer. We will use another Wife Saver since they have different owners. Years ago I worked at one of them and the brother would not like to know customers treated like this. Merry Christmas to you too!!...
