I don't usually gripe about restaurants. But I've got to give this place the credit it's due. We ordered online for pick up. First, after matching the card we used online, the woman (who claimed to be the owner, though I find that debatable) didn't like the way my husband signed the receipt. He was ordered (yes, ORDERED) to sign it again. She still didn't like the way he signed it and accused him of using a stolen card. She didn't even ID him, yet had the AUDACITY to accuse us of having a stolen vehicle - if someone could offer an explanation as to why my vehicle has anything to do with your restaurant, I'd be quite appreciative. And when I say that, allow me to elaborate. She literally FOLLOWED HIM OUTSIDE to get our tag number and said she was going to report us to the police. Hmm... sounds like you were profiling us a little bit, huh? If you're going to treat your customers like crap AT LEAST make sure your food is edible and you get the order right. We were literally harassed away so we couldn't even return our order - my food was inedible, we didn't get all of our salads, and I honestly don't even think we got the right order. Whoever this owner is needs to just throw in the towel and call it a day because her attitude is going to shut this place down! And please don't respond by asking me to provide my phone number and address - you can ask the woman at your restaurant who profiled us all the way out the door as I'm sure she already ran a background check and credit report on us the way she...
Read moreI am giving the food three stars not because of flavor but because I did not receive what came with the 3 MEALS. BURGER is missing lettuce, tomato, and onions.. It said all burgers come with that. I am not a child. I dont want a plain burger. Therefore, I do not want this. Steak cooked perfectly, sirloin tips apparently come with mushroom gravy but the receipt says: NO MUSHROOM GRAVY ON THE SIDE...I was never asked about it. Therefore, I did not know it existed. Normally sirloin tips come with mushroom and onions but she decided for me. Allow me to reiterate, This is my first time coming here. Back to the burger. Why would I pay $15 for a burger ans not get the lettuce tomato and onion? Hey, she decided for me I take it. It says on the wall that all burgers come with it. The food was very flavorful but I feel ripped off because I did not receive what came with the burger nor the sirloin tip meal. $65.00 is allot to not receive what comes with the meals...DO NOT DECIDE FOR ME....HOW ABOUT YOU ASK NEXT TIME.
Back with the trite reiteration. Please give me what I paid for and not assume. I told her in the beginning this was my first time coming here.
One thing that I did not like was the fact that she was taking orders, handling money, opening refrigerators, sweeping, going outside, and that back in the food area without washing her hands or using gloves. I will always go and pick up my food in the future.
Luckily the owner was there to step in.
The food was really good though...YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS...
Read moreMy wife and I have been very regular customers of Steak Out, two to three times a month for several years. Over the past few months, the quality of the food and service has been tolerable, but on a steady decline. Tonight however, was the worst experience ever.
I arrived shortly after 5pm and placed an order at the counter (I get take out because something is always missing when we call for delivery.) After 30 minutes the nice front desk lady apologized to myself and others for the delay. She had mentioned something about the grill cook being inexperienced and a new grill cook showed up to redo our orders. I received our food after 45 minutes of waiting. Once I got home I found the chopped steak was beyond well done; I paid $17.00 for a burnt hockey puck.
An inexperienced grill cook on a Friday. 45 minute wait, basic apology and burnt food. Really Steak Out? Not even a cookie for the colossal screw up. Maybe we'll have better luck with T-Bonz, prices are similar and you can't...
