Worst dining experience ever! Initially our server seemed very capable but that quickly changed. My husbands water had stuff floating in his cup which he replaced, eventually. Our app came out cold, the cheese wasn't even melted in the parmesan dip. Then he brought out the "honey butter". I'm not sure what he brought out but it definitely wasn't honey butter. After an hour of waiting on our food I asked if we could at least have our salad. That is when we were informed he forgot to put our food in to be made. It would be at a minimum 30 minutes before our steaks would be ready. We asked to speak to a manager. He came back and said it would be a while. I replied, "she has customers that haven't gotten their food, not even the order put in for over an hour. That should be her priority." He replied, "welp, nobody is perfect". We are now at 35 minutes waiting for a manager, no steaks, no salad, no manager. 40 minutes and a manager came out, she is going to start our order now..... we have been here an hour and 40 minutes. While we waited on our food a waiter just said, "excuse me" so I would move my feet allowing him to vaccum/sweep under our table. Food came, my steak is the wrong temperature and does not have the parmesan crust I requested. Waiting on a manager again.......

Had a great evening at LongHorns in their Augusta location. There was no wait to get seated and served. Upon being seated, we immediately were greeted by out waitress for drinks and offered complimentary bread and butter. For starters we tried the spicy chicken bites, and the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms. Both were delicious: the chicken bites were juicy and crispy, and paired with a delicious spicy sauce, and the mushrooms were savory and tender and topped with delicious, creamy, cheese. For entrees, me and my friend ironically both opted to not order steak, however both of our dishes were still great. I got the chicken fingers, while my friend got the pork chops and requested brown gravy to top them. The tenders were tasty, juicy meat and fried to perfection. I tried some of my friends porkchop and that was delicious as well: juicy, smoky, tender porkchops and a nice rich gravy to smother them. The sides were great too. For dessert, we shared the strawberries and cream shortcake. Simple but great dessert, the ingredients balanced eachother well, and it wasn’t overly sweet, as the added tartness of the strawberries helped to round it all out. Great food and great customer service, will definitely come again.

This is the first time coming to this location. I go to the grovetown Longhorn by myself all the time and never have a problem. I came to this location and asked for a seat; the hostess (50+ year old curly blonde haired woman) asked “can you sit at a high top or bar for me?” I said no thank you. Then she kept making facial and hand gestures while looking at the seating chart scrolling thru it as if to express there was no tables available -like where is she gonna seat me…. The place is empty it’s a rainy cold nasty day not many ppl are out. I finally get a seat waitress is nice takes my order etc brings bread drink food etc. I only order the flo’s fillet (Medium) bc I’m picky about my meat and that is always great. Reason I like it is it is tender no gristle etc. well this cut didn’t look like the normal fillet. It was thinner and had fat strips. It was mostly good. But it didn’t seem like a fillet because when you chew a fillet it dissolves pretty much. Well I chewed each bite and half of them or so had some kind of toughness and after a while I spit it out. I havnt had this issue at any longhorn. I’m not sure it was a fillet TBH. Won’t come to this location again tho.

We came in about 8:20 on Easter evening. The restaurant was not very crowded at all, but I do know that as time approaches closing (which was 10pm), the servers start being a little more concerned with their evening responsibilities more than their customers. There was a problem with every single part of our order except for my water. We were traveling, and my husband ordered 2 teas because he was very thirsty. The server only brought one and was reminded of the second one. He did not bring the second tea until my husband’s drink had been empty for a few mins. When he did bring a refill, he brought it in a plastic cup with no ice and poured it into the glass that my husband had been drinking from, and it had no ice in it because he had been eating the ice because he was thirsty. So, he did get his second glass of tea, but it was room temp because of no ice. I ordered the small strawberry salad and a margarita. I got the salad before my husband got his meal and there was no dressing on it. The lettuce was dry and wilted. My husband ordered the kids hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. He only got lettuce and tomato. The food had to have been sitting in the window for a long time because the fries had no heat to them whatsoever. I almost forgot to mention that I got my salad before my margarita. When he brought the salad, I asked about my drink and by his reaction, we knew that he had forgotten to check the bar for it. We think that is what happened to my husband’s meal, which is why the fries were not even warm. I saw the manager approach a table of four to ask how their meal was, but she did not come to our table, which was just diagonal from the other table. She was obviously not watching the window or the bar area to make sure that things were being delivered to tables. It was literally the worst experience we’ve ever had at a Longhorn restaurant, and we eat at Longhorn multiple times/month. The standards at this Longhorn do not seem up to par from...

Will not be back as this was the worst service I’ve ever had. The waiter that was assigned our table didn’t seem to know he was in the world, let alone supposed to serve customers. To begin with, the place was hardly busy so no excuse for the service. I’m not sure he was even working more than 2 tables during our visit. He had no pen to take our order and again had to go find a pen for us to sign our receipt at the end. One person received their salad while the remaining three of us sat waiting for salads and an appetizer that was ordered from the start. After 5 mins. someone other than our server delivered one steak dinner and she had no clue what kind of steak or the doneness of it. That was important since 3 of us ordered the same one, just different levels of done. I said can you find out why we have no appetizer still nor soup/salad for the other three of us. Another 5 minutes and someone else delivers the other 3 dinners with no clue why we haven’t received soup/salad. It’s another 5 minutes after that before our waiter appears so we can ask for steak sauce. He doesn’t even notice that we never received our appetizer and only one salad out of 4. He leaves to go get the soup and salads, then returns to ask what kind of dressings. He wrote our order down, so why not look at the ticket! The steaks were salty and not very good this time. Our table was cluttered with 8 glasses since he never used a pitcher for refills, bread plates and bread platter that was empty since before the entrees arrived, salad bowls after a long time, entree plates, and an appetizer plate. He never once offered to remove anything to give some room. Just overall the absolute worst service I’ve EVER experienced anywhere and especially for an...

We love Longhorn Steakhouse as a franchise. It is in our top 3 go to restaurants. This specific location however has had serious issues for a long time. The last time we were here was almost a year ago. Last night, we started with not being able to order a Coke, because they are were out. We ordered our food, and the server informed us that they were out of baked potatoes. They brought our salads, my wife's plate had something on the side (not sure what it was, but it was not salad stuff) and there was a chunk of plastic in it, probably from the bag. They brought her a new salad and informed my son that they were out of sweet potatoes. We waited for quite some time before they brought our food, which did not have the mashed potatoes that we order instead of the baked and sweet potatoes because they were now out of mashed potatoes as well. My daughters Asparagus was way undercooked, her chicken wings were dry and over cooked. My sons chicken fingers looked more like chicken straws. The steak my wife ordered medium was definitely not medium, and my parmesan crusted chicken looked like they threw it on the plate. We were there so long we ended up not even eating our meals and told them to bring us boxes and replacement sides to go. They did take $15 off our bill and in spite of all the issues the server was understanding. I guess we will go to the Grovetown one...
