Super disappointed. Three visits in a row in the past two weeks. First visit wasn't so bad, everything was hot and fresh, but we asked for extra seasoning on our fries and they forgot it. Second visit we spent $40 on dinner for two. We caught the first mistake while we were there- they forgot our fried cheddar bites. When reminded, they must have left them in the grease because they handed them to us less than a minute after we brought it to their attention, however they were extremely dark and crisp. Once we got home we opened them and realized it, otherwise we would've waited for another order. Also upon pulling out our order at home we realized they forgot our fried pickles. We called to let them know and Kyle told us to give his name when we returned and they would replace the order because they were closing soon and it was too late to get them that day, so we had to get them the next day. Today we decided to give them one more chance because we received a BOGO boneless wings meal coupon in the app. We added an order of fried white cheddar bites and an order of fried pickles. My boyfriend likes nuclear sauce and I don't like any sauce, so we got nuclear sauce instead of ranch for the bites and the pickles. We open the boxes and it was like the sauce lids didn't fit the sauce cups because the sauces were just dumped out all over the bites and pickles so I couldn't even eat them because I can't handle hot sauces. We were going to go back in and complain because it was a waste of $10 for me, but the drive thru and the inside of the store was PACKED, and the wait was just way too long. We put in the order through the app and still had to wait an extra 15 minutes on top of the time the food was supposed to be ready. Never have we ever been to a Zaxby's with such poor and inaccurate service so many times in a row. Needless to say, we are exhausted with hoping their service will improve, so we won't be going back to this location any time in the near...
Read moreThe effects of COVID and the recession are at hard work here. I ordered my usual go-to item: boneless wings, fries, and toast. The wings were so small that it felt more like a 6-piece meal than a 10-piece. Between me and my old lady, I spent over $30. The value per dollar certainly lacked.
The food still tastes great and you can't beat the sauces... But the prices have risen so much that you're better off going to Applebee's, really. The chicken may not be as good but you get more bang for your buck there.
Service was pretty sad too: we stood at the register for what felt like a half hour while the staff scurried to prioritize drive-thru orders and food just sat at the pass. At least the show was entertaining. There were at least three customers complaining about the delay. While they waited forever, there were customers walking in an out with their orders.
It seems to me they need better management because the chaos was evident. It's a shame because this has always been one of my preferred mid-tier fast food joints but it just doesn't make economical sense. The regret was instant.
Now, the location is convenient and I love the vibe after the renovation.. but it just feels like they are trying to charge upscale prices for what is an average fast food experience at best right now. I'd love to say our last experience was unique but the previous visit wasn't stellar either.
Please get a handle on the situation. This was a gem on our side of town but the downward spiral of mediocrity...
Read moreJust went through the drive thru and the woman repeated back our order right. Got to the window and we made sure there was no coleslaw extra fries but Ofcorse there was coleslaw. The guy said the order rang up for coleslaw. Owell so they made us pull forward to take out three slaws. Owell. $28.80 and I gave him a $25giftcard and a $5. Came back with the receipt, card, and no change which was confusing I should be getting $1.20 but no. He did cash first then the card so now I have to go around with a card that has a dollar on it. After the receipt, he gave us our food then started to walk away and we had to ask him where our drinks were so he took his time to get the drinks. Pulling off I said check the boxes and sure enough, they all had honey mustard when only one was supposed to. I would've went nuts if I got home with no zax sauce. Had to go in to get what I need and couldnt get a manager. All they had behind the counter were kids. The young girl just looked over my receipt and opened the top box and just said ok then put 2 sauce in the bag. I said something about the money and she said that's the only way to do it- cash then card. Which is a lie, even still she said they would've had to type in the difference($3.80) they need to learn simple math. This location has needed new staff and management for a long time. No...
