Ordered the Duvalin Lattes, Green Tamales, bean tamales, elote bread 10/10 Drinks were aesthetically pleasing, you must mix for taste. Cost was appropriate for sizing and quality. Food was delicious, huge tamales with generous portions. Masa had delicious flavor. Elote bread was soooooooo good. OMG I can’t wait to go back just for that. Quality of service is why I will return, along with the amazing food. One of my bean tamales was undercooked (it happens), I went to ask for a replacement and they were more than willing to replace. I was asked numerous times by different staff members if I wanted 2 tamales instead. I opted for just the 1 but I perceived that as that they are willing to address any issue and go above and beyond for costumer satisfaction. Very friendly happy staff members. First off love that a cafe opened up in the area. The atmosphere is nice and well decorated with cute furniture. The food and drinks definitely need some work but this is a new establishment so take this review with a grain of salt. We had the galleta latte and the choco latte (originally ordered the horchata latte but I think they misheard me). The galleta latte was very sweet and the proportion of cream to drink was a bit unbalanced. The Choco latte was also sweet and had notes of chocolate abuelita that gave me nostalgia. Both drink were unfortunately weak in espresso. We also ordered ham and cheese croissants which were okay and nothing to write home about. Would have loved if they used a different type of cheese over America cheese. Overall experience was not bad and I would give this place...
