First time visit to 1815 tonight. Service was perfect from the time we walked in until we left. While our table was being prepared we chatted with the hostess Kim and mentioned it was our first time in. Our table was ready fairly quickly. Our server Jessi was quick to greet us and offered water while we reviewed the drink menu. She was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions on what to order. The pork belly and fried green tomatoes for appetizers were the perfect portion. I enjoyed the pear martini which was refreshing. My husband had the peppered flat iron steak which was cooked perfectly and again the portion was just right. It was the first time he's cleared his plate in awhile. The beef stroganoff I was able to order without mushrooms which was appreciated. The noodles are made in house and were delicious. Our server asked if we would like dessert but we were stuffed and settled on a drink instead. The Lady Traveler was delicious!!!

Jessi did a great job of being attentive and not over bearing. Before we left the hostess Kim stopped back and asked how our meal was. This type of service and attention is what keeps guests coming back.

Great job Jessi and Kim. First time I've remembered a...

It's called a tavern so you expect tavern food which is what you get, but then you see the prices and you expect the menu all to be elevated, which they do sometimes. The walleye was well cooked, but underseasoned, the burger was clearly high quality ingredients, but the dressing on the arugula kinda took over, and I'm no expert on lemoncello, but it seemed far too sweet to me. The highlights were the crab cake, the garlic sea salt fries which weren't over garlic-ed for once and the fantastic corn risotto that came with the fish. So the appetizer and sides were the best thing we got. I may have had too high expectations, but felt a little let down since everything looked and sounded like it would be amazing. It could be because the clientele they cater to appears to be a well-off retired community (nothing wrong with that, but it might explain the lack of seasoning and sear). I will try it again, though, because they had a really interesting menu, both food...

Went for dinner at this restaurant first could get a waiter to come to the table I know everyone has bad days so I decided to be nice and go ask for a waiter. Our daughter ordered pizza it was lousy. I ordered some kind of shrimp linguini it was $26.00 come on a huge dish with about 1/2 cup pasta on it the add insult to injury it had about 3 shrimps on it but they were cut up into little pieces!! We ordered the mussel appetizer they mussels were tough and had some grid texture to them we couldn’t eat it. My husband had a burger it was dry. They seated us in the hallway of the house it was so noisy because it has no sound barriers we couldn’t hear ourselves talk at all. If you’re going to charge $25-$30 for a plate at least have the atmosphere to go with it ! One more thing the menu here is very limited and NOT good appetizers like the restaurant (Madjacks) which has decent appetizers. Total...

Overall had a cool, dark wood moulding, English pub vibe. The wood fired pizza was pretty darn good and French fries had a truffle oil flavor which was a little addicting. Lettuce was like a home grown bib style with a nice sweet flavor, I enjoyed the taste. Grilled chicken was cooked right but was a little light on seasoned flavor. Was good though. Menu has an interesting variety despite being focused and a smaller listed offering. There were many items that sounded tasty that I’d be interested to try another time. Recommended stop for a quick bite when you go to the Aurora Farms Outlet.

This is a quaint, historic tavern. The food and drink menu are very nice. I am vegan with many food allergies, and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. The food and drinks were very good. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. We had a nice table for 5, the restaurant was not very crowded and the noise level low. I would definitely visit this restaurant the next time I visit the area.
