Ordered a few items through DoorDash and was very disappointed. Firstly, I was under the impression the Teriyaki Tofu Panini would be Vegan since many of their other items are. However, after a few bites I was unpleasantly shocked to realize it had real dairy mozzarella in it. So that ruined my mood and appetite to begin with.* But I still decided to try the other items after verifying they were actually Vegan. The Vegan Mac n Cheese was very bland and basic and the pasta was mushy. The Ramen with tofu had the potential to be really good craft Ramen...but it could use more salt and spices. Lastly, the desserts. The Banana Muffin I got had an odd gritty texture and was way too sweet for a muffin, and the Brownie was more like a slice of frosted chocolate cake and had the same gritty texture as the muffin. All in all, maybe some of their items are better, but after sampling many of their items I would not recommend this place to another Vegan.
I will say that my first few bites of the Teriyaki Tofu Panini were actually quite tasty before discovering the cheese wasn't Vegan. Which was kinda my fault for not double-checking like I usually do, but when I saw a Tofu-based dish at a place with so many other Vegan options it was easy to make that assumption. And although I would have enjoyed the sandwich without the cheese, I found it to be way overpriced at $20 for 1...
Read moreWe walked in and were looking at menu deciding what to get. We choose a breakfast panini, a scone, and a coffee. We got our coffee and scone and went to table. The interior is a shop/table atmosphere. Nothing fancy or nice at all. Very basic... but that's ok. Took a bite of the scone and it was like a rock. This thing was very overcooked. I would also guess several days old. I had two more small bites and was ready to just throw it out. Wife said we could take home to dogs. Lol, she won! Coffee was good. It was only about 8 ounces and 3.50. So a little steep for so small. No refills. The panini came out and was ok. However, it was just ok. Nothing special at all. Something that you find at sheets gas station. We travel around to bakeries within 2 hours of Cleveland. Most we would go back. Evexia... we would not. Sorry! Oh wait.. the workers cleaning tables should be trained much better. You do not spray a bottle of cleaner 5 or 6 times a 2 feet above the tables and then wipe it. There were people sitting all around the tables being cleaned. Luckily we were not. I would have said something immediately. You should always spray the rag and then wipe it. This is very basic knowledge, I was very surprised to see this unsanitary behavior. To the owners.. train your employees better. We dont want to see...
Read moreI first came here on a Saturday. It was busy! So many people came to try this new spot in Aurora. When I first walked in I was impressed by the little store with a wide variety of eclectic gifts. We ordered our food which was a salad, a coffee and a cinnamon roll. We were handed the cinnamon role right away but had to wait 30 min for a salad! The worst part I saw what I thought was my salad sitting on the window being ignored by everyone behind the counter. After about 5 min I asked if they had an update on my salad. Finally someone grabbed it and handed it to me. I thought to myself, they are new, working out the kinks and it was super busy. So I would try it again.
I came back on a Tuesday morning. This time ordering a smoothie and avocado toast. I was the only person in line. It’s been 20 minutes and I am still waiting for my food while I watch folks in the kitchen talk and laugh. I don’t see anyone making my food. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately they have some serious organization kinks...
