I was really excited about checking this place out. The owner was really responsive on a social media post where I asked if it was wheel chair accessible so I could come watch my kid. The answer was yes! So today we checked it out. At first, I was very excited, and while it is very wheel chair friendly (not to actually ride anything but for a spectator) I immediately started to struggle because of noise and more than noise, the flashing overhead lights. But when we asked one of the workers if they had sensory friendly times and explained I was struggling with the flashing lights, she went and got us an answer. Currently they don’t offer sensory friendly time frame but they are looking into maybe starting that in the new year. But she asked them to turn off the flashing light! As soon as those lights were off my head cleared and I was able to enjoy the whole 2 hrs of watching my daughter play! Something I don’t get to do very often. Thank you slick city for understanding my need and being willing to turn off the flashing lights so that I could stay and...
Read moreIt was alright. Our 3 year old had fun in the junior area, but there were only 2 slides… they told her she couldn’t do any of the smaller slides outside of that area. They make you pay for 90 or 120 minutes. Not sure how they expect 2 slides to keep kids busy for that long.
My biggest problem is the teenagers kept trying to come in the junior area with no regard for our toddler. Workers didn’t seem to care. Prices at the food court were kind of high… $5+ for a tiny Icee and $3+ for a tiny soft drink.
I also thought it was dirty. There were several trash cans, but almost all of the tables had trash on them and not 1 worker cleaned them in the 2 hours we were there… it baffles me how people think they can just leave trash everywhere when there’s plenty of visible trash cans.
My other problem is… we paid for 120 minutes and got there at 7:15 and got an orange wrist band. 8:30 comes around and an announcement saying people with orange wrist bands must exit. We told a worker we got there at 7:30 and they told us to stay…...
Read moreIt is well worth it if you've got a toddler under 5! We did a 2 hour session and it was under $20 (2 hours of play+socks) for our 3 year old. The littles area is blocked off from the rest of the slides with a gate and a sign that says 5 and under only. There are two slides, plenty of bounce horse toys, and soft play blocks. The area is padded and our baby crawled around just fine. My husband and I went in under spectator and did not need to pay. BUY the socks! It is truly SLICK, REGULAR GRIP SOCKS WON'T CUT IT! Plenty of seating and there is a snack bar that has all the usual arcade-like foods, drinks, and candies. They have lockers you can rent to store your things, and a free area you can put your shoes in. Environment was fairly clean for the end of the night. We will definitely go again! I recommend filling out the waiver before you go it makes the process...
