IF ITS LATE SHOWING DONT BE LATE. THEY WILL LOCK THE DOORS ON YOU. EVEN IF YOURE RIGHT ON TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! Well do I have a different complaint then a lot of these even though I've experienced the place needing some cleaning up and not getting my food and having to go out there and get it. No I didn't complain about that until this last incident. So my son and I were at this theater last week. We had to leave the movie early as he had an allergic reaction to the food. I called the theater (don't bother nobody answers the phone) so I went back down to get pre-admission vouchers (which they graciously gave up). Went to the theater tonight (we were 30min late because I didn't want to sit through the previews.....AGAIN), and the doors were locked. So of course this is the second time to try and see this movie and....I wasn't going anywhere until I spoke to someone (looking like a crazy person trying to get someone's attention). Finally after 15 min someone came to the door with a sign that said they cannot unlock to doors once they are locked. I explained the situation but it was a no go. I asked for more vouchers which he slide through a small opening (like I was going to run him down to get in). In the meantime during all of this two other girls came up also there for a movie. They were only ten min late at that point for an 830 movie. It's super funny because my son and I got there AT 830 so.......you locked the doors at 830 exactly?????? Like nobody is late to the theater. So even if they were right on time they couldn't get in. I don't know about you but sometimes I get there a little later because who gives a crap about previews that last 30min like seriously common guys. It's like they were all in such a hurry to close it down so they could all go home. What kind of business are you...
Read moreLast night I had the worst experience with amc southlands I donât even know if we will come back.
We spent 100.00 total for a bad experience , movie was great I will gladly pay 30 to pay it for two people but service was the worst.
2 someone snored the whole movie and when we said something , staff just laughed. Do you know how disturbing that is when they are snoring louder than the movie.
3 I am vegan and decided to eat from the vegan menu. I ordered the non meat chicken sand . I asked the cashier about that sandwich and he belittle me so bad, he stated â he only eats meat and doesnât know anything about vegan.. thatâs just weirdâ ok well Iâm not vegan by choice so thanks. I almost walked away from that sale but gave it a chance , sadly.
4 worst food and service , the waiter practically threw our food at us and walked away quickly, we had to shout 3 times for him to stop because we needed ranch with our meals . He responded â we donât have ranch â and kept walking down the steps. Whats crazy is they bought my neighbor ranch with her meal. I could have paid for whatever it was I was asking Iâve already paid 93.00 at this point . The vegan chicken was cooked so hard it crumbled. Disgusting and then my partners burger had missing ingredients ( onion rings ) she paid for.
There were a lot of young workers there which we support 100% but they need supervised a little better than last night especially if they are the face of your company when customers walk into your establishment.
As a social media influencer I donât even want to create content about my experience from our valentines date night. It wasnât a good one. Thank you, a long customer of...
Read moreWeâve been going to AMC Southlands since they opened and itâs always been a solid 4-star experience. Itâs pretty much what I expect. Iâve always been satisfied with the experience and walked out happy.
My last experience in June â23 wasnât quite the same. First, we ordered our food ahead of time, reached the theater, sat down and checked in. Our text message said we would receive our food at 3 oâclock. At 3:15, I asked an attendant to check on it and it finally showed up a few minutes later. Cold. Burgers, chicken fingers, loaded fries - stone cold. But by the time we received them, the movie had already started and we were starved, so we ate what we could and tossed the rest.
The second part is going to be become a bigger deal to people as more and more hi-def TVâs get us used to amazing picture quality at home. Going to âthe Big Screenâ used to be a treat - seeing details that we would miss at home, etc. But the movie I watched in theatre 16 was really compromised by the terrible quality of the screen it was showing on. I was able to see a shadow - spots that didnât move behind a picture that did - and it was really quite distracting.
Granted, this wasnât a Hi-Def, Super Max, Ultra-Shine, In-Your-Face, quality movie. It was just a movie. But still⊠It bothered me. And Iâm just a 55 year old lady with a regular TV, 2 dogs, an aquarium and a husband. So you decide whether it matters to you or not! đ
Anyway! When we asked for the manager and discussed the issue with our food, she apologized and did a nice job handling our problems. Ultimately, we left satisfied.
On the other hand, if we return, we wont be ordering...
