Golden Wok — Restaurant in Aurora

We called in to place a dinner order for delivery. The girl who answered the phone did not seem to know the menu. The first item we listed in our order was from their healthy options portion, steamed veggies with beef, sauce on side. The employee did not seem to know what we were even asking for and we had to repeat it several times. We ordered a few more items and hung up. Then we realized the employee didn't ask us about rice, if we wanted it or what kind (steamed or fried). So we called back and got that clarified. After delivery, the healthy option was not included. Instead they did vegetables with beef in some kind of brown sauce. We called back to get it fixed and the girl said she had to get a manager on the phone. We explained to the manager what we wanted, and the manager said he couldn't fix it because vegetables and beef was written on the order. It was weird and unsatisfying service from start to finish. We also had an order of sesame beef. The beef was almost non-existant. It was all breading, and some of the breading didn't even have beef inside. How can it be sesame beef without the beef?! We've decided not to order from them again and wanted to share...

We ordered a very large order - the website pricing is wrong be warned!! - we added it up to $143.00 without tip or taxes

We were told pricing went up and the site is wrong and pricing went up the total was $199.99 without tip

We cancelled 2 items and the total went to $179 without tip. We were confused by the pu pu platter which is 8.95 ×4 = 35.80 so we cancelled it to 2 orders not 4

When you add up the pricing from the menu we were given it should have been $154.15 prior to tax so $25 difference for what we don't know since they didn't even bring a receipt and doesn't make since..

They claimed we got a "free sesame chicken which is $12.95 ) but it makes more since that they charged it and then added $10 for tax

= $177.10 which is the price we were quoted We then tipped $25 expecting

Food was ok if it wasn't for the fact that we feel swindled out of money we would try again vote of 9 adults -

The pu pu platter and szechuan prawns were the best from what we ordered.. those were actually...

I love to go here, the employees are very friendly and the food is amazing. Anything I have ever ordered was always fresh and cooked perfectly. I love the sesame chicken here, it is very tasty and does not seem like it was deep fried. Anybody who lives in the area should support this establishment because they definitely have the best Chinese food in town and possibly the state. I've eaten at very many Chinese/Asian Restaurants and Golden Wok is by far the best. Anybody who has given this place a bad review obviously has never had good Chinese food in their life, or they probably own their own crappy restaurant and want to steal customers. I do not live close enough to order delivery but why would you when you can just go in and eat in a nice small restaurant. I drive across town to eat here because it's the best around. Defiantly worth every penny. Oh and I've never been charged for refills maybe that person doesn't know how to...
