We went to this place based on the highly rated reviews and the single dollar sign indicating it was among the least expensive restaurants you would find. It was very good but not great. I don't think that the value was there specifically on the euro platter for what you paid. Being as it is nearly $15 I would expect a lot more food but ultimately it really is just a lot of rice. You can see from the picture posted below. I would have been a little bit happier had they just replaced some of that rice with more of the fries even though the fries aren't amazing. In the end though it's just a ton of rice and that's the biggest negative in my opinion. If you're paying $15 you want a lot more meat and a lot less rice especially if it's a single dollar sign rated establishment. These tend to be the least expensive and the best value and I feel like that's a pretty strong price that doesn't help in either of those categories. I still think it's good but it's not great and I don't know that I would have gone out of my way to try it when we were in Aurora. I feel like the price should be lower or Google review should change it to two $ signs instead of one as I think that's a little more accurate. If I end up going back I will probably just get the combo that is a gyro fries and a drink for $9 as that feels like a better deal. Ultimately, on this platter specifically, you're paying over 50% more for rice and a pretty minimal/basic vegetable salad if you want to call it that. If I ever get back to try it again I may modify this review to reflect what I feel may be the better deal in the gyro combo. I'm basing this review entirely on the dish that I ate which was a gyro platter for $15 that didn't feel like a good...
Read moreMy wife literally adores Greek food and when she heard the food truck was going to be at our complex, it’s all she talked about all day. The food was only decent. Kind of sucks to pay $11 for calamari, and get 6 calamari and a plate full of fries instead. Tasted....ok....just way over priced for what you get. Everything has French fries in it so don’t worry about ordering any side of fries. Very unimpressed for the price We ordered a traditional gyro, that came stuffed full of French fries. That doesn’t seem traditional in any way. The Greek fries were overpriced, undercooked, and soggy. The backliava was overpriced and tiny, and covered in chocolate. That again is not traditional in any way. We spent $75 and were so...
Read moreGyros. Overly generous (chunks instead of strips) on the meat, which might seem a positive. However the meat is dry because they're stingy on the sauce. They'd do better to cut back on the meat, and add more sauce. At least then the gyros wouldn't be so dry, and would be more fulfilling. And don't get me started on the Falafel. Outer shell is burnt, and all you can taste is char despite what's on the inside. The char taste subsumes all other flavors. Falafels are the worst ever. Take falafel off the menu entirely because you simply can't do it right. For gyros, shave the meat instead of coarse chopping into cubes, and lay back on the total meat and...
