Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in Aurora

This was our first visit. And 2 of the 4 of us who ate here last night ended up sick throughout the night. My two children, ages 15 and 13 years old were up heaving/throwing up, and glued to the toilet most of the night. I also had a stomach ache, but it did not get worse than that. I was not all that hungry and did not eat a lot, so I suspect that was why. Definitely will NOT go back. The place was dirty, your shoes stuck to the floor as you tried to walk around. And the food was meh at best. But what is most concerning is the food poisoning my 2 teenage children had as a result of eating here. That is extremely worrisome and it should be inspected and shut down. I called and asked to speak to the Manager once the restaurant opened the next day, and a female stated she was. I tried to explain the events from last night and how sick my 2 children were still this morning. I explained that the two sick kids both had fresh fruit and also shrimp. She was only half listening, and helping customers in the background. She immediately stated she did not think it was because of their food, because no one else was reporting getting sick. I asked if there had been any other calls or reports, she claimed there had not been. I explained to her that they both had severe stomach pain, and all symptoms of food poisoning, and had been fine prior to eating there, and had not eaten anything since eating there. She stated, "well I do not know what to tell you, other than to take them to the doctor, I am not sure how else I can help you." She was disinterested, extremely rude, did not even offer an apology. I told her we would not be returning again, and I would write a review to warn other people. Unless you want to get sick or risk your children being violently ill from food poisoning, I would advise finding somewhere...

This place has gone down hill! Not to sound racist but there is something wrong with these Chinese buffets. The people are rude and racist themselves. A bit of advice to the manager/owner... QUIT OFFERING A DINNER OPTION DURING LUNCH IF YOU DONT WANT PEOPLE EATING DINNER! My husband, son and I ate around 2:30pm. You pay before you eat! When we went in they asked if we want to pay for lunch or dinner. We said dinner. They give you a receipt and you sit yourself. Manager lady walks by, sees my husband and I were eating the fried shrimp and calamari and says, "You can't have that! That for dinner only! It lunch!" Our receipt was on the table where she could see it and I told her, "We did pay for dinner!" She sees the receipt and just says, "Oh, Okay, me sorry!" and walks away! THAT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS OR CONDUCT BUSINESS! If you don't know how to speak clear English and speak to ppl correctly, you shouldn't be operating in America! Ye, she didn't offer to say that to the other people at the tables around us who were eating the same things. Just the table with the black guy. Then they seem to still expect tips! Why??? I serve myself! Only thing they do is refill your drinks and take your dirty plates! I'm not tipping for that! Tips are not required and it's not your customers job to make your paycheck worthy! Talk to your employer! So, we left and the little refill lady had the nerve to be like, "What, my service no good?!" Because we didn't tip! No MF we served ourselves! I was hoping for a good dinner, but I was wrong! I Walked up to pay for my dinner the lady was a B** (Wendy) and told me 24$ when it was $22.23, so I thought to my self this place must be fire (really good). So I'm looking to see where the hibachi table is at, none in sight. I was hoping for a onion volcano 😆 and a real hibachi ninja chef to toss me a shrimp well he was cooking, like they usually do. 🤣 Then I proceeded to go straight to the fake hibachi grill. Grab my plate and started loading up with the goods and when I got to the steak there was no spoon to serve and the previous person was mixing with other raw food was my guess. I finally got someone to get me a spoon. The grill was ok, food was ok. But I did spit some hard steak in to a napkin. I thought a piece of the tile was going to fall into my food that stuff was everywhere and the plastic cheap spoons were really sharp when eating also very flimsy. I finished up my griddled food. Then I decided to get my buffet food and I was hoping it was going to be a game changer, but hell nah that was the worst sausage, it tasted like bologna.The sesame chicken tasted like it was soggy because it was watered down big time, the hibachi chicken tasted the same, just fried. The peanut lo mein was horrible. I really couldn't finish the food. I usually leave good comments on restaurants this is my first bad post ever! I hope I don't land up sick tomorrow. I feel like this place owes me 24$ even though it was 22.23.
