Lucy Coffee House — Restaurant in Aurora

I have been indecisive both times I have been here, so I am going with a 3. This is a place that if I were in the neighborhood I would possibly stop in. But I am not likely to go out of my way to go here.

I ordered a vanilla ice latte today. The first drink was good and the rest were like drinking a completely different drink. It was very strange.

My pastry was enjoyable but the cashier couldn't tell me anything about it. She was calling someone from the back to her credit, but that seemed like an inconvenience to me so I didn't let her. In hindsight I should have because I don't know the name of it for the future...

Last time I ordered an Ethiopian macchiato. I remember the name, the coffee was forgettable. I am always looking for that amazing cup of coffee that you linger over and savor the taste as well as the memory. I went to this place twice. The first time I went I ordered two hot Latte's. They were small, but the taste was superb. I am not normally impressed with coffee shops, but was very happy after my first visit. The latte had a very deep, rich, and satisfying taste.

They also sell green coffee beans, which I bought a bag at a good price. Plan to order from them in Future.

Only issue is consistency. I went back the next day to be greeted by a very polite different young lady. I ordered exactly the same thing. This time the cups were larger, and the taste was like hot milk with a hint of coffee. I was disappointed after just praising them to others on this unique find in CO.

I'm going back for a third try today. See how it goes. Hopefully day one was not a fluke.

Clean, atmospheric, and great service of delicious fresh coffee. It’s a great, spacious place to work, study, or get together with friends. I think the best part is the owner and his wife truly serve you with their best coffee. THEIR coffee! My partner and I make fresh espresso at home and the price of the both the coffee AND beans at Lucy (their coffee beans that they roast themselves) are so well priced! Look how full this bag is- and less than $20! I have bought beans from local roasters all over and I guarantee you these are not just better priced, but they are coming from people who love what they do.
