When I arrived I had no issue receiving my key. We walked to the room opened the door and boom the smell of cigarette just hit you in the face. Mind you I rented a smoke free room and the facility is a smoke free zone. Didn't even put my bags down just closed the door and walked back downstairs. Spoke to a lady in customer service told her i rented a smoke free room due to my son having asthma and i needed a smoke free room if there was any way she could put us in another room. She responded by saying "no because we're already over booked by 3 rooms". I said ok can you return my money she said yes but it would only be part of it because they would keep the deposit and it would have to be the next day when the manager could be there. I called my choice hotel phone number and the guy on the phone tried to help me. He called and they told him the same thing they told me. So I put him on speaker and I voiced my concern to another lady. I said we cannot stay here due to the fact that my son has asthma if we stay here he will end up in the hospital. That will be a liability on you guys it's not my fault you don't have other rooms. She said there's nothing we can do until the manager is here tomorrow. I looked at all 3 of them and said i know for a fact one of you have his number. So one of you need to call him so that i can get my money back and i can rent a room somewhere else. One of the ladies said we can't give you his number. I said i don't need to talk to him i don't need to have his number you can call him and explain to him the situation because this is an emergency we drove 10hrs from Las Vegas. We are tired and we can not stay in this room. She called him right away explained the situation and said he would return my money the next day when he's there. I asked for something in writing and they said they couldn't give me anything. So i asked for his name (Carlos), hotel phone number and price that was going to be returned. She said he would be there by 8am the next morning. We got there at 10am July 17th Carlos should have been there by then and the same lady told me he hasn't showed up. So she calls him told him we wanted our money returned. Carlos told her to go ahead and do it. So she tried and she couldn't figure out how. She called him back and he said don't worry about it I'll do it. Which left me thinking couldn't he have done it the night before? Couldn't he just help us instead of making us wait and saving us the hassle of coming back? Anyways he finally did the return we checked our bank account and there was no return but there sure was another charge for $115.24. we told him about it he couldn't do anything that the return would take 3-5 business days for both. I called my bank to see if they could help and nothing they couldn't help. I didn't have any money in my back account not only because we had to rent a last minute hotel which cost more than when you rent it ahead of time. It cost me more than $700 plus the deposit then it was Quality's hotel charge of $343 plus the $115. That is over $1000 in hotel fees. Due to this situation. I finally received my money back on Tuesday July 20th. I am very upset with this hotel and I would not recommend anyone staying here. They should always have a manager at least someone that can call. Read moreI tried to check in to this establishment around 1-2:00 am on September 13th 2019. I just got off a flight from Spokane Washington and I looked for a choice rewards property. I am a choice privilege rewards member and I frequent the properties often. I seek out the properties because of how well I’m usually treated when I go to the property’s . This was not the case at this property . Upon my arrival and being dropped off by my uhber. I had checked the price on my account . My phone died before I got to book a room so I proceeded to check in at the front desk. There was a black women there who gave me a totally different price at about 30-40 dollars more expensive. I decided that I may be able to find something cheaper but I had already got dropped off there. The front desk/night audit knew I was trying to compare prices and possibly find a different property . She seemed very irritated and aggressive . Every question I asked her she seemed to get more frustrated to the point she seemed un approachable . I was settling with getting a room the establishment because I was getting tired and I had answered a phone call. She inadvertently interrupted my phone call telling me that was I getting a room or not and if I wasn’t I need to leave because she’s open for business etc. I was shocked because I literally just answered my phone and I didn’t expect a front desk agent to be so rude . She continued by basically stating that I can’t be hanging out in the lobby if I’m not getting a room , I told her I was trying to compare prices to find the best deal etc . After she continued on her rant I just completely got turned off even staying there . I was willing to stay on the streets before I would stay at the hotel after all she was saying and how much of a inconvenience I seemed to be. I asked her if she was ok maybe she was having a bad day ..... she continued to tell me to leave and let her and her attitude be inside while I’m outside . I said can I atleast call a cab since my uhber dropped me off here. My phone had died and I just needed to get a quick charge so I can leave and go somewhere else she said no . And literally made me leave with my phone dead and all my luggage walking . I don’t even know where I was going or where I was even staying after that . Luckily I ran into a Laquinta down the road about a mile away after carrying a 100 pounds of luggage all the way there with me . They let me use there lobby to write this review and also let me use the electricity so I can call a cab to go to another destination . I will never in my life recommend or even step foot in that establishment while she works there again. I have never met someone so rude and unprofessional in my life in the hospitality industry . Read moreI was given a price for a room through the app. but when I checked in I was told that room was not available and was told I had to pay more because I was given a different room. They did not honor the price that the app was “holding” for me. I reserved the room for 2 nights and the first night my room was dirty the floor looked like it was not vacuumed as there was salt and sand from the sidewalk tracked throughout the room and looked like a powder or something by the full length mirror in the room, and food on the floor and walls. On my 2nd day I came back from work (inventory control) and my room had been entered and totally cleaned!!! But most importantly, my personal items were gone!! It was items I needed for shipping inventory back!!! Apparently whoever cleaned my room thought I left it behind and did not want or need it! Obviously “they” did not check the room schedule to see I had reserved it for 2 nights!! I tried calling the front desk and nobody answered, nor did anyone call me back! I was extremely tired and I just wanted to shower and sleep. I got in the shower and turned the water on and the SHOWER HEAD FELL OFF, IT LITERALLY FLEW OFF WITH THE WATER PRESSURE AND HIT ME! I HAD TO CONTINUE MY SHOWER USING JUST THE PIPE WATER SPOUT WITH NO SHOWER HEAD!! My room didn’t even have a room number outside the door I was guessing and knocking on the door to see if anybody was in the room! Everything in the room was very dated and worn out including cracked mirrors, closet doors did not even match up and did not close….. the walls were dirty. It was terrible. I thought it would be ok as I only needed the room to sleep and shower and I couldn’t even do that safely!! I would not recommend this...
