Hunan Express — Restaurant in Aurora

Needed to try a new Chinese place and thank goodness we did. Dude who took the order said 10mins which was very fast. And it was ready when expected. Entry area was clean and the order dude was very nice and personable. Food was fairly priced and portions were big for multiple meals. Got home and the food was still hot. Rangoons were still crispy. General Tsos had some nice flavor and not too much breading and you could tell is was made fresh and not sitting. Lo Mein also had great flavor and nice fresh ingredients you don’t typically see. I love this restaurant, there's nothing not to love. The people are great, lightning, fast service, and the prices are shockingly low. Low. I moved to Aurora in 2012, single father and eating out was something I needed to do while we were getting settled in. In. The first place that I ate at was Hunan Express. Have been coming to Hunan for over a decade and it seems to just get better. You just can’t find Chinese takeout that’s this quality and tastes SO good.

We got Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein (no mushrooms), sweet & sour chicken and an order of pork fried rice. Everything in the order was correct and carried out hot and fresh. All of this food was only $32.
