Last Sunday we ordered from jet’s Pizza a large thin crust cheese pizza with extra cheese. Using a coupon that we got in the mail for $9.99. We were told that it would be a six dollar delivery charge, even though this particular jets is literally across the parking lot from where we live. Since this is a senior building, nobody truly wanted to just get out and walk across the parking lot with their walkers and canes so we opted to pay the six dollars. I asked if the six dollars was the tip or if the money goes to the delivery person that came over here and was told yes After an hour, a cheese pizza, without extra cheese, was delivered it was not thin crust as requested, but in fact, a thick crust pizza. I called and spoke with the manager who then asked if we wanted the correct Pizza sent out. We said yes, of course, and we were told that there would be no charge since the order was incorrect. After another hour of watching the game on TV most people left and a pizza was delivered. In fact, it was the correct order at this time but two hours had passed. That was Sunday, Tuesday, today, my bank informed me that jet’s Pizza charged me $39.99. That seemed incredibly obsessive for a thin crust cheese pizza especially using a 999 coupon. I easily walked across the parking lot with a copy of my coupon and asked the manager what happened and because I had my service dog with me, he could not explain in detail, but his explanation was $39 was certainly the typical charge for a large cheese pizza . Personally, I’ve lived here for quite some time and have never paid that much from any restaurant for pizza. We’ve had get-togethers here in our community room in the past where we’ve purchased five pizzas and it has cost us $60 from the same restaurant and here I was looking at one thin cheese pizza Just a penny short of $40. The manager, a tall scruffy, dressed man in a T-shirt would not budge on the price. Our building has senior citizens and military veterans who have all received a variety of different discounts, but never have we been up charged by $25. This manager kept saying that he was not little Caesars as if he was comparing his pizza and prices. I do know that if we were going to be treated this way And we knew it, little Caesars, of course is a preference as well as Dominos, Pizza Hut, big daddy’s, oh heck.- even making it ourselves. There are enough grandmothers and grandfathers in this building that are terrific cooks. We certainly didn’t need jets it was just convenient. But to steal money from us when the majority of us are on Social Security and Social Security disability is incredibly rude and it seems like fraud when you won’t take your own coupon. I’ve placed a picture of this coupon here for you to see and decide for yourself if the manager was fair. Yes I did see in the fine print that prices may vary but $25 is just downright prejudice against the elderly.

September 2024: I was greeted at the door. My order was ready, actually early. I got a veggie calzone it was good and huge. Next time I'll go easy on the black olives. I also got the 2 square with a soda. Good price and food. I'm glad I went back for more good food. March 2024: The food was delicious. The service was lacking. You walk in, and nobody comes up front to greet you for a couple of minutes. There's no menu displayed, so you have to grab a paper menu, but that's when they come out and ask you what you would like to order. I ordered 2 slice combo and triple cheese turbo stix. I ordered Detroit style pizza. It was good, cheesy, and saucy. The cheese sticks were really good. I loved the crust on them. They didn't let you know when the pizza would be ready. They didn't even hand me my receipt. I had to grab it off the printer. Customer service needs improvement. I'm thinking maybe they have a lot of turnover or only one person is running the whole thing. I only saw one person and another arrived during pickup. Maybe I caught them during the shift change. I'll give them a 2nd chance.

Any complaint I have is my ordering skills or lack there of. This was my first experience with Jet. Anyhoo after totaling my car today I needed food and what better way to drown my sorrows than pizza. I asked for sausage well done. It was exactly what I ordered and was at my door within a few minutes of the promised time. I wish they had coke products, or at least Dr. Pepper. I would also order light on the sauce. The sausage is the ball sort as opposed to sliced or browned ground sausage, but it was good. Outside of that, it was cheaper than any other place and like 50x better. It's also huge servings so I'll have lunch and then some. All in all I will definitely order again!

My family orders pizza at least once a week and we like to try new shops as we learn about them. Our first time order for delivery with Jets was Oct. 24, the service was pretty good and the food was good, pricey ($75) but good. Right on cue the following week, Nov. 4, we decided we would try multiple other items at Jets and placed another order ($85). The order was placed a 6:46p, with a expected delivery of 7:31p.

I called at 7:47p inquiring about my order and I was told the driver would be there any minute and promised the food would be hot because they had a system to ensure later orders were not cold.

At 8:15 my dinner arrived. I realized a portion of my order was missing and tried to stop the driver who drove away as I reached his rear bumper. I called the shop to let them know I was missing half my ridiculously late order. At this point I had had enough, I wanted the tip and the charge for the missing food returned. While I was speaking with the manager, my wife informed me all the food I did receive was cold. The manager, put me on hold a moment and returned. He apologized and thanked me, promising me he would retrain the driver and would issue a full refund for the order. I felt better and thought maybe it was an off day for team Jet.

Today, 11/10 (that's right, 6 days later), I checked my CC account and learned not only was the order still present, it had cleared. I called the shop and spoke to the manager (she didn't offer her name). She said it must be an issue with the bank, if that was the case it would still show pending... Years ago, I worked as a retail manager and understand exactly how banks process voided transactions. Generally within 24-48 hrs it removed, that timeline was over days ago and there was no holiday!!! She recommended I dispute the claim. I told her that was a pain, she said that was the best she could do. I told her I would dispute the charge, my Google review would reflect my experience and I hung up. While I was righting this she called back and told me she notified her GM who would call to take care of me tonight. You can probably guess, it never happened.

The best I can do is dispute the charge and waste more time over cold food, that was an hour late, and missing half the order because they couldn't follow through with a commitment to a customer. Think about it, what is your time worth for poor food and execution. I won't be back and will not recommend this shop.

Do a google search, there are 13 other pizza shops in this area. Try something else or do you think they can get your order right? Are you a gambler? If they don't get your order right, based on their historical conduct can you trust them to make it...
