not bad for a random restaurant in aurora and lots of extra points for being across the street from my brother's apt. the broth is decent and the meat is okay too. nothing like pho 95's filet mignon, but also not gross and dry/gristly. prices are $$$$ for pho, so my brother and i shared a large (close to $10 before tax, if i remember correctly). i tried to order a coconut taro boba, my go-to drink, but the server said they couldn't mix flavors. pretty sure he just made up that rule though, because when i settled on a taro boba drink and asked for it to be made less sweet, he got super confused/confusing and told me he didn't know if they could do that. i asked if they added extra sweetener or if it was just whatever was in the taro powder and he told me he didn't know because he didn't make the drinks... but didn't offer to find out or anything. after trying to explain again what i was looking for and telling him that if they couldn't make the drink with 1/2 sugar, i'd just take it regular, he left to go put in the order. the drink came out toward the end of my meal, which i guess i didn't mind too much bc i didn't need to drink it while eating my boba, but for a long time, i thought he probably just completely forgot about it. but when i got it, it turned out to be pretty good. not super epic honey boba or anything, but the drink itself wasn't too crazy sweet (they were able to make it with less sugar) and the tapioca were soft and slightly sweet. not bad for boba from a pho place! i'll be back to try some of the other menu items!
edit: tried their taro boba, half sugar again. still tasted good, but this time, it was gritty (like they hadn't mixed the powder thoroughly enough). so a little hit-or-miss, but there isn't much competition around here so i'll take...

The food is always amazing and Iâve never had an issue with the service or the food.. until today! I usually donât post reviews, but this bothered me because I work in customer service too. I know how it is to have bad days, to be really busy, to forget things and so on. What I canât understand is the audacity of a waiter to speak to a paying customer - who was never rude or demanding - the way he spoke to us! Our boba was first incorrectly made with no boba, my friend asked that she get the boba pearls inside the drink too because she hadnât ordered it without. He did take the drink back to fix it, but he must have been in a hurry because he put them on top of the whip cream. Boba comes on the bottom, so as you can suck up boba as you drink Ian that right? I felt like it was kinda rude to not have just taken it back and remade it correctly. When we asked if he could just take it and remake it so her boba was correct, he told us they donât remake them and that we could just stir it into the drink. I would have been either fired or written up for this at my job, why canât you remake a drink that your server originally made incorrectly anyways? I was really disappointed in such terrible service from a place I love going to. Customer service is easy, you make your customers happy! We didnât demand, we were not rude, we did not do anything that deserved such terrible service!
