Ho Wei Express — Restaurant in Aurora

I can only speak to the items ordered and I may have ordered the wrong item on the menu. The service basically one guy for all tables and take out. Considering it was impressive. Had to wait a bit for my entree but wasn't too long. The egg drop soup was very good. However the egg roll was not an egg roll it was a spring roll. I prefer the texture of the egg roll to the spring roll. Was ok but nothing thing special. I judge Chinese restaurants by their egg rolls and they did not pass. My entree was the egg foo yung which is my go to entree. However at this place it was different than any I have ever tasted. Not in a good way. The entree did not have bean sprouts in it leaving the overall texture wanting. If I were them I would change the recipe. This was my FIRST EXPERIENCE with this establishment. After what I thrown out, it will be my last. I'll go back to New China City or China Chef Express in a heartbeat!

I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch combo. I asked for Fried Rice. No soda was provided, which I was okay with that.

When I arrived, the bag was tightly sealed. I'm okay with that as well. There was no one in the restaurant (should've been my cue to RUN).

When I got home, the rice was brown and scorched; the first bite of Mongolian beef was below mediocre and finally....ALL VEGETABLES WERE BURNT! Upon further investigation, not only was the vegetables burnt, but there were burnt parts in my food.

The best Chinese food in Aurora delicious upon deliciousness! Love it! Meat in the fried rice is perfect, big pieces in every bite, ragoons were incredible, egg rolls were huge and perfect, perfect prices, fastest delivery even faster than Jimmy Johns, food it always hot and fresh.
