this restaurant is an amazing restaurant with extremely friendly owners and a very nice quiet, so though, and enchanting atmosphere. Me and my boyfriend went out to eat for Indian food last night and we were looking around for restaurants to go to. We happen to stumble to this restaurant who happen to have had a buffet. Even though it's new advertisers that there's a buffet on the Google Maps here there is indeed not. But that was okay because the owner of the restaurant had actually been able to talk to us and showed us the menu of what they had to offer. They had extremely reasonable prices at their Curry being $18 per dish with rice.
The service and customer quantity service was exceptional especially with the owner having to go around and talk to all the other customers as well as us. The owner was exceptional in his quality of care for the restaurant ensuring that all who dine are satisfied! we had an awesome chat with the owner and he even gave us extra bread as a to go home part for how much we enjoyed the restaurant. They're coconut curry was on point with actual coconut shavings and their shrimp was extremely tender not open cooked whatsoever. I absolutely love the food they ate and it was probably the most delicious Indian food I've ever had.
Our waiter was extremely patient and also super on task with our customer service to ensure that we had the water, understanding, and support for our meals. He was always on time in between our dining session asking if we need anything but not being overly sensitive about it. He always left with a huge smile and even did really cool glass and water tricks as a show-off which we both really enjoyed a lot.
This dining experience was exceptional and I have really enjoyed my time being a restaurant. I will absolutely come back again considering that they have been open for over 30 years. The owner even told stories about how he had those customers eating there now having to eat here for at least 20 more or so years and I hope to be part of that same experience for how long this Russia has been running. Such an amazing experience and thank you so much for this awesome dining...
Read moreThe experience was truly delightful, with the flavors of the dishes leaving a lasting impression. The Chicken Tikka Masala, in particular, stood out as an exquisite creation that embodies the essence of North Indian cuisine. The intricate blend of spices and the tender succulence of the chicken made for an indulgent feast that left my taste buds in a state of blissful satisfaction.
While the gastronomic journey through the realm of North Indian delicacies was largely impressive, the same cannot be said for the biryani, which unfortunately fell short of the anticipated culinary delight. The expectations were not met, and the dish failed to capture the essence and authenticity that one hopes for in a biryani. It is safe to say that my palate was left wanting more, as the flavors failed to harmonize in a memorable way.
On the other hand, the Chilli Chicken presented a unique contrast with its sweet and tangy profile. While this departure from the traditional flavors may not have aligned with my personal preferences, it could very well appeal to those seeking a milder and more nuanced culinary experience. The juxtaposition of flavors offered an interesting exploration of taste, even though it did not resonate with my palate.
Apart from the culinary journey, the service at the restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The efficiency and promptness with which the dishes were served contributed significantly to the overall dining experience. The attentive staff and their dedication to ensuring a pleasant visit were evident throughout the meal, making the entire experience all the more memorable.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers a gastronomic adventure that excels in certain aspects while faltering in others. The Chicken Tikka Masala is an absolute must-try, showcasing the rich tapestry of North Indian flavors. Despite the disappointment with the biryani and the divisive nature of the Chilli Chicken, the remarkable service adds a layer of value to the overall dining experience. For those who appreciate a more subdued palate and are drawn to exceptional service, this establishment is certainly...
Read moreLet me start by saying , I am coming back to this restaurant after almost 4 years now . Last time I visited them back in July 2014 .
They have not changed much and food sucks . Below are the list of items I ordered with my rating out of 5 .
Chai- 4 out of 5 = chai is good and taste is perfect ( easiest thing to make )
Keema Naan- 1 out of 5 = where was the KEEMA . Naan is stuffed with keema but u cant taste keema as naan dough is too think and very less keema stuffed in it .
Garlic Naan - 2 out of 5 = very dry , garlic naan should be soft . Frozen garlic naan in Indian stores are better.
Bhuna Chicken - 0 out of 5= OMG , please tell ur chef to read the complete recipe of bhuna chicken online . Chicken Pieces where huge and very light gravy on the top. Looked like somebody placed chicken pieces on a plate and through some sauce on it . Bhuna chicken is too soft if cooked by a proper chef .
Taj kebabs - 0 out of 5 = guys , check online or atleast see what a kebab is . U dont serve tandoori chicken topped with some dried sauce on it and say these are kebabs . Lamb peice where a bit raw. Not cooked properly and India cuisine has no room for lamb. Goat is way better any day and served in most of the authentic indian resturant .
I DO WANT TO POINT OUT THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST SERVICE IN ANY INDIAN RESTURANT (IN DENVER) I HAD TILL DATE . THE LADY RUNS THE SHOW HERE AND IS AMAZING WITH CUSTOMERS . VERY POLITE .
I was expecting a better punjabi meal ( being a punjabi myself ) I know the taste . It runs in my blood .
Overall best service and not a great food . ( I have to say that they still serve better food than bombay bar and grill . But I guess , I am again out with guests for...
