Let me preface that we have been to Silla many times prior, but I need to express our disappointment in the service we encountered last Sunday evening. Silla is typically a great Korean restaurant; great ambiance, service and exceptional Korean food. We quickly realized as we entered the restaurant that it was very busy, probably unusually busy for a Sunday evening. Every table was booked and the host/waitstaff were flying all over the restaurant trying to manage the chaos. Seating took a while and we quickly realized we were being ignored by the entire wait staff. Menu's were not presented to us until about 15 minutes after we were seated. We wouldn't have had an issue if the staff informed there would be a 20-30 minute wait so that they can manage all the busy tables rather than trying to sit every single person that came through the door. Rather than that, we were rushed the entire time. Once we got our menus, we were pressured to make decisions on our dinner choices. The young waiter tried to snatch our menu's away and we were not finished ordering. All of us could tell he was very stressed and agitated. I even made a point to ask him if he was feeling okay. We remained patient despite all of this up until waiting for an additional 40 minutes with no response from the wait staff. Every time we pushed the "waiter button" at our table, we realized table 2 was ignored on the screen and even deleted. It's a shame that a restaurant we have come to love over the years provided unprofessional and dismal service. It may have been a bad day for them, and we hope that they can work that out with hiring more staff or even managing the tables. We left after waiting for 45 minutes with no food and drinks. We anticipate coming back in the very near future, your kimchi ji gaes and bibimbaps...

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for lunch regularly, and we never get tired of their Mul Naengmyeon and LA Galbee. These two dishes are especially refreshing and satisfying during the hot summer months—definitely a combination I’d strongly recommend.
Last night, we had dinner here with a friend’s family, and once again, the food didn’t disappoint. The Galbee was incredibly tender, with a flavorful BBQ marinade that had everyone at the table reaching for seconds.
We also ordered Osam Bulgogi, which turned out to be the perfect match for So-mak (a mix of soju and beer). The dish is stir-fried with fresh squid, pork belly, and chewy glass noodles in a sweet and spicy sauce that kept us coming back for more. It’s one of those dishes that really wakes up your taste buds.
For the kids, we ordered Japche and Haemul Pajeon, both of which they absolutely loved. And to finish off the meal, we all enjoyed the icy, refreshing Mul Naengmyeon, which worked beautifully as a palate cleanser.
This restaurant is truly one of the best spots for a casual yet delicious Korean meal, whether you're with family or friends. The menu offers a wide range of classic Korean dishes that are perfect for sharing, making it a great place for gatherings.
The next morning, I had Someori Gukbap to go. It was just what I needed—a warm, rich hangover soup with tender meat and a deep, comforting broth. Paired with white rice, it made for a hearty and healing breakfast.
Whether you’re craving a simple weekday lunch or planning a group dinner, this place has you covered with satisfying Korean...

Amazing to see how much they have changed over the last 3 years. So much so that I wanted to make sure to retain the old review. My last 2 experiences have been HORRID. The Service was abysmal, and flavors were also very off, almost tasted spoiled. I would have to guess based on this level of change that it must have changed hands/ownership. I would no longer recommend this to anyone, , and in all likelihood I will not be returning to give them another chance as there is some really good Korean BBQ and service at Dae Gee.

While I was a bit hesitant at first due to the previous reviews, I decided to put "Silla" to the test. Ordering one of my favorite Korean dishes kimchi jjigae.
Let us say I was most pleasantly surprised and pleased.
The decor was clean, bright, and pleasing to the eye. The waitress was pleasant and courteous providing me the right amount of attention without being a bother.
Now to the food, which was delicious. A good sized portion, and enough side dishes to please almost any palette. The main dish had classic kimchi, and had a nice amount of fatty pork to give a nice extra flavor. All but one of the side dishes was excellent, and that could just have been my taste as I was already getting quite full by the time I got to it.
Personally I give them 4.5 out of 5, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking...
