Takero Mucho — Restaurant in Aurora

GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE! My husband and I weren't sure about going to this place after reading some of the reviews but we decided to give it a shot. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the steak alambre, and I have to honestly say that it is AUTHENTIC mexican food, I haven't had food like this since Mexico City. My husband ordered the burrito which was also equally as amazing. On the same day, I recommended this place to my parents and they went for dinner and loved it! I really recommend this place. Takero Mucho is so good we first ate their for breakfast and went back a little over a week later to eat again with the plan of eating non-breakfast, but then we needed those Chilaquiles again. I've had the Chilaquiles and the Huevos Divorciados and both were absolutely excellent. My wife got the same Chilaquiles she got the first time, which tells you a lot. Their green sauce that they use on the Chilaquiles is so so good we bought a quart of it to take home and add to our breakfasts and tacos as a salsa. The best tomatillo based sauce I've ever had. The tortilla chips are all made in house and you can tell. They're delicious and crispy. The beans are top notch, made with the good stuff (lard) but not overly so. It was our 1st visit. Our server was very talkative and nice but not very good at her job. It wasn't busy when we got there. She forgot to bring our table chips and salsa we ordered drinks and she only brought out the beer that was ordered and forgot about the sodas. We had to ask her twice for them. The food was ok I asked for Caldo de Res it didnt have flavor I had to put lots of no salt and lime to have it get some kind of flavor. My husband's food was much better as well as our kids food maybe it was just a bad day for the soup. We asked for tacos to go and she got the order all wrong and didnt even put salsas in the bag.
