Visited twice, both on weekends, just around their opening time and had no problem with getting seated.
I frequent this area for the supermarket within the complex and have always noticed people outside this restaurant waiting their turn to dine.
This would be weekends noon to around 2pm, so, I decided to try them out, too.
Have so far tried: Tornado Rice The Porkcutlet Ddukbokki
The Tornado Rice can be ordered either with bacon or spam. I got the bacon and it is 👍. Will definitely try with spam in my next visit.
The Porkcutlet undoubtedly, deserves to be the header of the Pork let. It is crispy delicious yet tender, served freshly cooked.
I love their miso soup (offered as a side). For me, it is a great palette cleanser and delicious.
Food presentation is excellent, not to mention their dinnerware which can easily pass for a high-end restaurant.
My only disappointment? Coffee is not offered in their menu and no ice. I had to forego my drink of choice ☕ and got soda on both my visits but, was told they did not have ice. On both occasions, their sodas were not cold.
Though the place is small, it is very clean!
Service is 👍. The lady who was on duty was very friendly, polite and professional. As a customer, I felt very welcome and appreciated.
Definitely will...
Read moreOrdered: cheeselet and 6pcs buffalo wings (no drink/to-go)
Cost: $44.25
Pros/Cons:
PROS: First off I ate everything so that’s a good sign! Having spent a year in Suwon, S Korea I feel like this is something you’d find at the shopping mall or have as a street lunch. The buffalo wings were not spicy at all and even had a hint of sweetness about them. I was given very little ranch for dipping and a few pickles on the side. The pork/cheese was warm and flavorful especially when dipped in the signature sauce.
CONS: The only few cons I have to say is the miso soup had absolutely nothing in it. No seaweed, tofu, onions, nothing. Just broth. The wings look crispy; but they aren’t- they are more mushy in texture. Also, being a Korean place I would’ve loved a side of kimchi instead of shredded cabbage. All in all I feel like the price is too high for what you get. There is a nearby restaurant that offers all you can eat for only $28…
ANOUT Me: Hello! Originally from Louisiana and traveled to a few countries around the world I absolutely love to eat and consider myself a local foodie! I love eating food trucks, locally owned shops and anything that isn’t a chain/franchise. Please keep in mind every review is strictly my opinion! I encourage everyone to try it for...
Read moreThis place is so cool. I'm not aware of anything like it in the Denver area. It's sort of Japanese and Korean fusion. Not sure what but it's so delicious. The "cheeselet" (pork katsu with a thick cheesy middle) was fantastic as was the "tornado fried rice" i ordered which was spam fried rice inside of a big thin egg omelette dome, all on top of a reddish-brown savory sauce. It was epic-looking in presentation and I'd never seen anything like it. Great place if you want unique, fun, delicious food.
UPDATE After having been here probably a dozen times by now, and trying most of the menu, I can still attest for the incredibility of the food. Nothing I've had was short of fantastic. The katsu entrees, the katsu bowls, the fries, the wings, the dduk bokki, the tornado fried rice, the grilled chicken, the burritos, the udon dishes, you name it. All wonderful. It's literally one of my mother and me's favorite restaurants in Aurora. The lady working there is very sweet as well. The attached photos are of a recent visit where I had the garlic parmesan seasoned fries and the chicken katsu bowl.
Don't listen to the angry reviewer "Joy Stark" pulling a bs race card when she's clearly racist herself 🙄. The lady working there is lovely and clearly Joy is just a...
