Black Bear Burgers — Restaurant in Austin

100% not worth the money. For a burger claiming to be a smash burger, it looked/tasted a lot like a frozen Costco patty. Costco patties are fine if you know that's what you're getting, but this was absolutely not a smash burger, not fresh ground beef, dry as can be (again, probably frozen), no chipotle sauce to be found, and not worth your hard earned money. If you're going to charge $15.49 for a burger, you'd better bring your A-game. Huge disappointment.

Also, no fries at that price...

Honestly - don't go here, the burger and even the chicken tenders come from those microwaveable bags from HEB (pretty sure that's where they got them from). The flavor was bland, the chicken tender tasted like wet bread with a little bit of salt. The fries were just as bad. The owner needs to be held accountable for false advertising.

Even with the down grade of what whataburger used to be, they at least know...

Burger was nothing like any of the promo pictures. I could barely see the meat from the outside, the bun was neither toasted nor Hawaiian, and the fries weren't even as good as frozen fries you make in the oven. The only saving grace was that the flavor was okay. Extremely disappointing for the price. You'd be better off...
