Where do I begin! Finally am feeling better, & when I want to walk to feed My Mind & Soul...this is always the 1st choice. On what use to be sorta normal...the invasion of homeless people was not...as it is. 😳 Before anyone says anything I have a friend who is homeless & I take her food, water etc. However the people who are stuck & respect the parks, streets, people & are trying to do better. Have been all put in the same light because: it takes away the beauty of The entire DT area. As hard as It is for anyone living like this... Forcing Them, & The Disrespectful Way They Have Been Treating Such A Beautiful Surrounding...Is Truly A Sad Thing To Witness. I hope this is a lesson learned for those who are regulating our laws. Read moreI enjoy getting outside and running/walking around town lake or other areas in Austin. Its great that we have a city that has green spaces like this. The only thing to be careful of is that motorized scouters and bikes will sometimes ride the trail. While it is illegal for motorized scouters and bikes to be on the trail and there are signs posted, it seems to be up to the runners and walkers to avoid them. the people who ride them do not understand right of way.
