I was really excited to get to eat here but ended up being quite frustrated and disappointed afterwards. I arrived around 1 pm on a Sunday. They open at noon and they were out of yucca fries and the torresmo . I went excited for the fries.........that being said I did order the coxinha and it was VERY good. The chicken and cheese was delicious inside a perfectly cooked breading. It took nearly 30 minutes just to get the coxinha, and another 15-20 for our food. We were told the bread for the steak sandwich was baking.

When our food finally arrived, the "bread" that the steak sandwich was served on was essentially two fried blocks of cheese, making the sandwich almost impossible to eat. This "bread" looked NOTHING like the bread in the website photos. It was essentially fried cheese with a batter crust. I do love cheese, but this ration of cheese to steak was overwhelmingly rich and fatty.

The steak was cooked well and the flavors were great, but I was left disappointed in my...

This Brazilian restaurant serves the best Brazilian food I’ve ever tasted. The feijoada was divine—the pork stew meat was so tender it practically melted in your mouth, while the grainy cheese flakes, refreshing pico de gallo, and perfectly crispy pork skins came together in a mouthwatering symphony of textures and flavors. The garlic bread steak sandwich was another standout—the bread had just the right amount of butter, and the sauce perfectly complimented the juicy, tender rib inside. Each bite was bursting with savory richness. I don’t usually go for steak, but this sandwich was irresistible, full of bold, layered flavors. The coxinha, though a bit too cheesy, was still a delightful treat, especially with the dipping sauces—one creamy and the other a spicy salsa that brought...

My wife and I decided to try a Brazilian food spot in Austin (She’s from São Paulo), and we are so glad we found Boteco! The food was absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and truly a taste of Brazil’s best comfort food.

We arrived on a chilly day, and the owner went above and beyond with his customer service. He was incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and even told us to wait in our car while he brought the food out to us—talk about hospitality!

This is hands down the most authentic and delicious Brazilian food truck in all of Austin, Texas. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or looking to experience real Brazilian cuisine, Boteco is the place to go.

Highly recommend this spot! Austin definitely needs more Boteco food trucks—this...

Good stuff. Ordered the Coxinha, yuca fries, and Picanha Grelhada. The steak was cooked perfect. I thought the flavor of the rest of the side items were ok. Big fan of yuca fries, can’t go wrong there, especially the green sauce they include. You can’t leave there without getting the Coxinha. Chewy outside but tender meat on the inside with I think cheese? And again, the green sauce on the side. The staff/owner is super friendly and welcoming. Great location, hope this place stays around. Would love to see some new dishes.
