This food trailer chain is a joke. We tried the new one just opened on Anderson Mill. Mixed plate was cold, it seemed like a meal prep plate that you take out of the fridge. The chicken had that old refrigerated taste and did not seemed chicken shawarma at all! to call this chicken shawarma its an insult! the gyro was not throughly cooked on the inside. The falafel was super old too and mushy. The rice was hard and tasteless. Really dissapointed of wasting my money on a meal that was not edible and had to dump on the trash can and spit what I had put in my mouth 🤮.

After a sunny day at Zilker, we decided to stop by the food truck park conveniently located outside of the park. Habibi is one of the options serving Mediterranean cuisine. I tired the mixed with falafel and lamb, it comes with a serving of rice, salad and a pita bread. The flavors were good, although the plate was quite small. I wish they would offer sauce for the falafel, they were a bit dry without a dip. Overall, not bad.

The one good thing about this food truck is that it is located on Barton Springs Road. I paid $14.07 (roughly $17 after taxes + tip) for 2 small pieces of gyro and romaine lettuce. I was the only person at the food truck and I felt like the gyro was just thrown together. The lady at the counter acted like I was disturbing her phone call. I wanted to give this local business a try, but this is refund worthy.

Ok so I really really really wanted to give this 5 stars because we absolutely love Mediterranean food. The flavor of the gyro meat and tatziki were phenomenal. The problem I do have is portion sizes. I ordered a Gyro plate expecting everything to be semi separated with at least enough meat to make a wrap. What I got was a layered bowl with 4 little pieces of meat, a ton of lettuce, mushy tomatoes, chicken peas that tasted canned, a few crumbles of feta, a few pieces of onions and half cooked room temp rice on the bottom. So I basically paid 14 for a rice and...

Experience from the Fieldhouse at the Crossover truck. Ordered a gyro wrap with no tomatoes. The pita bread was not fresh, cracked through the whole fold. The amount of gyro meat was laughable- if there was one ounce I’d be surprised. The meat was small and cubed looking, obviously from a frozen source. The whole wrap was full of lettuce a few cucumbers, no onions and lots of tomatoes. All for $14 plus a nice tip. I wish I’d thought to take a picture for...
