Worst experience ever!!!! Our server did absolutely nothing for us except walk 3 out of 4 people's food. It took her almost 25 min to get to our table. A shift mgr did come take a drink order about 8 min after we were seated & she also took our food order a bit later. Initially there were 3 of us dining in but a 4th person joined us shortly after our food had been dropped off. Nobody greeted the 4th person. Eventually I found someone to get a drink order but they never returned with his beverage. He was on his lunch hour so there was a time constraint, as there was with us, as my dad was in town for an appt with his ophthalmologist. The person joining needed a menu but we couldn't find anyone to bring him one. I had to leave the table & go to the host stand & request the mgr just to get a food order placed. The food all together was pretty good EXCEPT one of my sides was cooked the exact opposite of what I requested & this was AFTER the mgr & I had discussed in great detail how I wanted it prepared. No one came by to check on us once we were eating, no refills on drinks, & had to ask for a to go beverage. I wanted a fresh mango tea since mine was obviously watered down, (2 hrs after I got it), but the mgr brought me an empty cup. Gee thanks. The check was paid by the joiner who was unaware of most of what we had experienced & has never worked as a server. When he went to pay & was told to use the kiosk he simply hit "ok" for all prompts so the server, (who did NOTHING but drop of a few plates), ended up with a very good tip, which I was NOT happy about, but there wasn't much I could do. I will NEVER visit this location again. Period. I drove from outside of Georgetown to meet my parents there & regret it to the fullest. Not seeing my parents but wasting my time, FUEL, & energy on such a horrible experience. I might add this was our Mother's Day get together which only made things worse. NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION & AGAIN, I WILL NOT EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. YES, I WILL HOWEVER, SHARE MY EXPERIENCE...
Read moreMy wife and I went on a Friday evening, but the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated immediately as we walked in.
And then we waited.
After several minutes, we were greeted by our server. She was very nice and polite. It may sound like something small, but she would actually say "you're welcome" when we would thank her, which I always appreciate. It's not pleasant having someone walk away without a word after you thank them. We ordered our drinks and appetizer.
And then we waited.
While we were informed the onion rings would be about 12 minutes, which was not an issue, we only got our drinks about a minute before the onion rings came out. The onion rings were very good. I would give them 4/5. I also received my caesar salad with a honey butter croissant, which was also good - 4/5.
On to the entrees. Unfortunately, the kitchen made a mistake on one of the entrees, so we had to send it back. Our server took care of us and made sure the kitchen quickly made a fresh dish (this did not negatively affect the rating; people make mistakes). Sadly, the food was underwhelming. Everything was underseasoned and the breading on my wife's chicken fried steak fell apart, and there was a puddle of grease on the bottom of the plate. The green beans were cloyingly sweet, and tasted as if sugar was added to them, and we felt the mashed potatoes had an odd aftertaste, which we could not identify. Entrees 1/5.
While we really did like our server, we were not offered refills on our drinks. At the start of dinner, we were excited to get the monster cookie for dessert, but by the end of our entrees, we could not wait to leave.
And then we waited.
Unfortunately, it took another several minutes before we could ask for our check.
It had been a while since my wife and I ate at Cheddar's, but because of the slow service and food, I doubt we...
Read moreGreeted at host stand with a “good evening,” accompanied with a friendly smile. They said us at our booth. The restaurant didn’t have 75% dirty tables. The tables were bust very little and bust considering it was dinner an hour and busier. Great great service by a young gentleman I feel bad I don’t remember his name because I’m writing this review a week after I ate there, but we had a really great service. He remembered everything everything I asked for on the side you know he remembered my lemons and straw that I requested with my water. It’s amazing how many servers they will always forget one or the other he remembered both! I know it’s something little, but I eat out quite often with my significant other and it’s like so aggravating when you ask for a water was strong and lemon every time and 80% of the time they never hit the mark. It’s really not that hard like I don’t understand why is that so hard to remember the strong woman that was requested with the water but they always forget he didn’t tonight so it was just nice, our food came out hot. I’m always happy with the ribs there. It’s one of my favorite things on your menu and think it’s a great price with a great product. The meat was really median but yet it had a crispiness a little bit on the outside and there was plenty of sauce. Our sides were correct that we asked for everything was perfect. We weren’t rushed. He didn’t try to like clear the table before I was done eating how refreshing. He offered us dessert. We had absolutely no room when we left the restaurant our server said goodbye to us. The same host said goodbye to us at the front door where they were standing. Thanks for the great service. You guys are one of our neighborhood go twos probably at least four times a month and thank you for giving us a hassle free good quality meal for...
