First time I write a bad review. I came to this chick fil a and ordered a chicken burger, emphasized to have no bacon on it as I cannot eat it, and once I drove away from the drive thru at 10:57 PM and I opened my sandwich, I found bacon. I immediately drove through the lot to go to the window and as I drove up to the window it had hit 11:00 PM. I held up my sandwich smiling and waving so someone can help me, being completely nice and not gesturing in any rude way, the female worker immediately gave me a disgusted look and gestured for me to leave.
I was confused because it had just hit closing time, so it’s not like they couldn’t just open the window, fix my sandwich real fast and give it back to me. Other workers stood by and looked at me then proceeded to ignore my existence. I then saw that some people were still eating inside the store so I drove my car around to park it and walk in, and as I did that, the employee bolted through the store to lock the doors. I was so confused on why they were treating me like I was someone dangerous or as if I was being aggressive in any way. It was so painfully mean of all the workers to collectively treat me like I was a threat all over me just kindly gesturing to them that my sandwich was made wrong. I ended up crying and leaving with a sandwich I couldn’t eat, so I ended up just giving it to someone on the street that was able to eat bacon.
I called customer service the next day and explained the story and they couldn’t care less. They said they’d call me back after investigation and never did. I then called the store to talk to the manager, Norma. She was deeply apologetic and told me to come in for a free meal. She was great.
I went to the store inside to pick up my meal, the same workers who were mean to me that night, saw me and gave me the weirdest looks. I felt such coldness and over what? Me asking for my sandwich to be made right? Anyways, I ask for my meal and this time it was a different manager. He looked annoyed when I explained my story and was condescending. He also only gave me a sandwich and not a full meal, which I didn’t mind but it just showed he truly couldn’t care less and wanted to give me my food for me to leave.
If you are working in a place that requires you to interact with customers, learn kindness. I’d get it if I was being rude, aggressive, or demeaning but not once did I ever act in a disrespectful way, yet I was treated so disrespectfully. Extremely disappointed. It was...
Read moreI love chick fila, been to 7+ different locations in DFW and Austin but this one is by far one of the worst. I never post any reviews but it was not up to the standard with any other chick fila I've been to so I have to say something. I pulled up to the drive thru where they had 2 guys taking orders outside. There was only one car in front of me, and one of the servers was taking his order. The other server looked like he was still putting on his uniform; he saw me pull up but was adjusting his pants or something so he didn't take my order. The car in front of me finishes so I pull up to the next server. He doesn't even look at me, just walked away to go talk to the other guy! Ok whatever I brush it off. I pull up to the next podium where there's a guy taking the money. He says to me "I don't see your order in the system". I had to explain to him that none of the two guys back there took my order. So he takes my order (this one server was actually pretty helpful). I pay and pull to the window. I get my food and pull away. When I got home I completely forgot to get sauce for my fries. At the same time though, the guy at the window usually asks if you want sauce, which this time they didn't. So no sauce for my fries. Then on top of this, I asked for EZ ice, and they literally only put like 5 pieces of the mini ice in there; so my sweet tea was luke warm and flat. Not to mention my fries were luke warm as well. All of this sounds petty but when every Chick fila I've ever been to has been top notch, you notice something like this. Chick fila has such a high standard so I just wonder what's going on with the training and management at this location. I worked in the service food industry before and have seen this variance before and sometimes the weaker service locations eventually close because of these little things. I just expect a higher standard from chick fila like it's other locations. Something wrong with this...
Read moreGreat food, but the parking lot is a complete disaster if there is a line for drive thru... this location has the worst parking lot design and to top it off, they have routed the drive thru line to wrap around the building through the parking lot, which is only wide enough for 1 vehicle, so you can’t go around and bypass drive thru line... Therefore, you have to enter drive thru line to park, including for handicap and curbside. What’s worse, is what used to be the safe side to park away from drive thru side is now chaos... so not only did I spend at least 10 minutes trying to get to curbside parking, but in the process I almost had a guy back into my car that wasn’t paying attention to the big line behind him. It’s ridiculous and not safe! And to add more frustrations, when it’s time to leave, you have to fight to get out of parking space and get back in drive thru line to get out of parking lot since it’s again, one way and no passing space. I spent probably 15-20 minutes trying to park and then get out of parking lot, which made me more upset when I got home to find my food cold (home is short 5 minute drive). I’m sorry Chick-fil-A, but I think it’s time for a parking lot redesign/upgrade, especially for safety concerns. You have a lot of wasted parking lot space that could be redesigned for a backup drive thru space and allow passing space and parking space, especially if some parking is made into flex lane or removed. I know several locations that have had to redesign their parking lots to accommodate the masses, which I recommend discussing further with them for a new solution, but it needs discussing and fixing. This problem is only going to get worse, and I’m sorry, I love chick-fil-a, but it’s not worth the drive for the wait to park (especially if I’m trying to avoid waiting in drive thru). I’d rather drive to another location instead. PS, this was at 1pm today, which should have been near the end...
