Alright, let me start by saying this. This is my first time going to Chuys, so happen to be a grand opening at a new location. Congratulations. 3 out or 5 is what I give because!, start off pretty bad. The salsa for the chips and salsa is not salsa at all. Not even close. What I received was short of like pico de gallo(as seen in the photo). It was horrible and a slap in the face. Please ask for advice from an authentic Mexican restaurant to help you fix it. The next dip, I couldn't believe it how bad it was is the guacamole. My goodness, whoever came up with this idea needs to be yelled at. If my mother saw me making it the way y'all make it. I would get the sandal slap across my back of my head. Why did you put house lettuce in guacamole. Wtf?!?! Sorry, I have to say it, but it was awful. Please fix that... I ordered a alcohol beverage. A mojito, strawberry one, is one challenging drink. Must be well balance and refreshing. Give your bartender a rise or something because he or she did a wonderful job creating the Strawberry Mojito. Prefect!. The my dish I ordered came, the 10' burrito. Thank you for redeeming yourselves. The dish was really good, it had a nice spice to it. Please don't change it. It's probably the best 10' burrito I had. Thank you for that. So, Chuys, you have some fixing to do before I go again. The dips are supposed to be exciting...

I'll give it two stars because we have eaten at Dine In and that was good, but I just had the worst pick up experience.

Ordered online and it said it was a 40 minute wait No worries we thought! We get there and wait some time...and then wait some more. Its now 20 minutes passed our order time to we call. The manager Maya says she will check on the order and just hangs up?

Another 10 minutes pass with nothing. My husband goes in and again asks to check on the order. Nothing. Its now 40 minutes passed and almost 9 pm, so after the dinner rush. We can see into the kitchen and theres one guy working and about six just standing there. My husband gets another worker and they finally get us our food...50 minutes after it was supposed to be ready.

We get home aaaaand its not what we ordered at all. We ordered a soup and comida deluxe. We got a fajita plate. How hard could it have been to ladle soup? While they were nice when we called and asked for a refund, why did they just hand us a random order? Bizarre. So decent if you want to dine in, but honestly top 3 worst pick up...

We had a party of 5 and got sat immediately! Great!! We had 2 kiddos with us and they were hungry! We ordered our drinks. I asked for a Bloody Mary with no Tabasco and they couldn’t do that because they premix their blood Mary. No problem. Except the bartender was staring at me. So I knew Sydney and the bartender were saying something. We had to ask Sydney for everything. Except chips. She wanted to make sure we had chips. My daughter wanted fries and ranch. They have no regular ranch supposedly. Only jalapeño ranch. I’m sorry… but what restaurant doesn’t have regular ranch? … this one. This Chuys doesn’t have regular ranch. They also don’t have any beer on tap? Which a lot of places don’t, but restaurants usually have 3 or 4 taps of some kind of beer! Was honestly disappointed and won’t be returning. Sydney spoke to us more when she brought the check then the whole hour we were there. Definitely could tell she didn’t care about her customers. Only what the customers left her. Honestly if she acknowledged us more she would have gotten...

I usually dont visit chain restaurants but Chuys has been an Austin staple and this was my first visit in 10 plus years. I was surely not disappointed, great food, good quantity, very reasonable prices in this day and age and friendly service too. I sat at the bar and the friendly bartender Alex was quick to get me the chips and salsa. Ordered their signature margarita which was smooth and inviting. The food was delicious and the quantity excellent, got the chimichanga and a pablano chili with cheese and the accompaniments. Definitely a place where I see myself going again, they get pretty busy over the weekend.

My husband and I love Chuy's and decided to try out their new location near us. We loved it! Our server Samuel, was friendly, informative, and attentive to our needs. I got a Mexican martini, yum! The chips, salsa, and queso are all so good that I had difficulty stopping eating it, lol. My husband got chicken enchiladas, and i got the Green Chile Relleno Combo. We got containers to take left-overs home, no way was i gonna leave any of that mighty good food behind. Thank you Samuel for giving us a good Chuy's experience. And, another server, Charlie, it was fun visiting with you!
