Edit 8/20/17. I'm pretty bummed to have to edit my review just the day after I posted 5 stars. I dropped down to 3 stars because my husband ordered 15 vegan pupusas the night of my birthday. He was very careful to specify and confirm that we didn't want cheese because the whole party is vegan. He ordered well in advance and confirmed the order more than once before he went to pick it up. Well, they messed up the whole order and put cheese on everything. They refused to re-make the order even though there was more than an hour left before closing. I was left with a house full of waiting party guests and no pupusas. Everything my guests brought was intended to complement pupusas, which were to be the main dish. I am never going to return because I think It's very poor form to leave a loyal customer hanging like that. I have been telling everyone about this place, but I feel very disappointed in how they treated us. -end edit Best vegan pupusas! If you are vegan, you may assume this place doesn't have anything you can eat. When I first saw the menu online, I was very dismayed. Rejoice! Not only do they make vegan pupusas, they make them better than any other pupusaria I have been to, and they don't use lard. Order like this. "Dos pupusas solo frijoles y loroco (a green vine that tastes like spinach), sin queso. Con guacamole." My Spanish may not be very good, but this gets the job done. Most of the people there do speak some English. Please be polite and speak slowly if you order in english. "Two pupusas with beans and loroco, NO cheese. Add guacamole." Two pupusas will fill up most appetites. One plus half a serving of guac is more than enough to satisfy me, and when you eat in, it comes with free chips and salsa. 4 pupusas costs about $9, so two hungry people can get full on $10. Guac is like $2.50 for a generous scoop. Be sure to leaver a tip. If you call your order in, be aware that vegan pupusas take a little longer to make. Call in advance and allow about 20 min or more, depending on how...

I would give it zero stars if I could. The service was terrible . The food wasn't good and we waited for over 40 minutes to get our food. When we did get it we had 4 pupusas that were de chicharrón but they smelled so bad. When we told the lady in the front that they were bad she said that "yea they do smell smoked" we asked her to remove them from our bill because we had only eaten a small piece before the smell hit us. That's when we noticed they the meat had gone bad. We where told that they can remove them from the bill but when we went to pay the lady not only did not take the 4 pupusas off of the bill she was trying to over charge us.

DO...

The Food here isn't bad. I think there is some room for improvement but over all it will satisfy an itch for something special. The pork was fried good but it was old pork. The Pupusa were decent the flavor was there like I have had at other places where you could taste the loroco. These tasted mostly of the Masa. The Cabbage wasn't bad pretty run of the mill and the salsa was ok. I think that both can be improved but it's pretty standard. Nice thing was it wasn't over powered by Oregano. The salsa was very similar to tomatoes sauce. I have had other versions that just stand out way more. But over all not a bad...

This place was fine. The wait was long, something was dripping from the ceiling (it was rainy), I didn't quite get what I ordered (enchiladas were supposed to come with beans and salad, but came with rice instead. [Ironically the rice was probably the best part]), my fiance ordered horchata and received some mango drink instead (also really liked it, so maybe they mess up on purpose?), and I'm pretty sure we were overcharged by around $5. The food was alright.
