Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Austin

THEY MICROWAVED MY BURGER. There was no line at the drive thru, and I had ordered a cheeseburger. I paid and was sitting at the window for a while, just staring inside. I watched the woman working put a wrapped item in a microwave and thought to myself, "I wonder what they heated up". She placed the item in the bag, opened the window, and gave it to me. The whole thing was wrapped already. How are you gonna heat up my lettuce and the paper wrapping!? If it was to "melt" the cheese, that's a lie because it wasn't even melted. And if it was for appeal, to make me thing it was fresh well.. it wasn't. That's what I like about...

This has always been my go-to Dairy Queen but I was very disappointed with the service tonight. We ordered $12 worth of icecream and were told at the window that the card machine was down and they could only take cash. We had $6 of cash because we only carry card typically. We were not given any solution and had to leave empty handed due to their issues. This was poor customer service and should have been handled better. This experience will make me think twice about where I support due to the rude service and lack of customer support we received tonight. Very disappointed and had to go get ice cream...

This is a really nicely run, staffed and maintained DQ. The signage shows this is a Mayfield DQ. I assume their other locations are the same caliber. The inside staff is friendly, patient with the little kiddo’s customized order and very helpful. You can even tell they’re smiling behind their masks. Well trained and we see the same folks working there, so they must like the work environment. Food is DQ food - very tasty. The ice cream is great. The team makes this a really great location. We enjoy going here. Go ahead and take a few extra minutes to enjoy eating inside...
