I do want to note the personnel were friendly and kind, and the music was enjoyable. The staff created a pleasant atmosphere despite the issues with the meal. However, I had to wait like 20 to 25 minutes The menu was printed on a piece of paper and did not include any prices. I ordered the Mofongo and a large Fried Chicken, but the food I received was incorrect and poorly portioned: Instead of fried chicken, I was served what appeared to be chicharrones de pollo. I received three small pieces (one small thigh and two wings). The mofongo was extremely salty and had large, unmashed chunks of plantain, rather than the smooth, fried mashed plantain it should be. I was charged $22.84, but no receipt was provided for the total. The combination of a menu without prices, an incorrect order, the salty taste and the lack of a receipt makes the price feel exorbitant and the transaction highly non-transparent. Since it was a to-go meal, by the time I opened the order and discovered the issues, it was too late to return. Due to these significant issues with the food and pricing, I cannot recommend this experience.
