Mixed review here. Atmosphere is cool. Live musicians were setting up to play later on, and the vibe was open-air date night, with the bar nearby the stage. I’d LOVE to give a better review of the food, but it was ho-hum. We were seeking some authentic local flavor, and both looked towards the brisket bowl. However, in trying to sample as much as possible, we switched up and I got the “Cajun” chicken tacos with elotes, and he got the brisket bowl with ranch pickles. Portions were really good sized, and the value for that was there, but those tacos…. Ugh! They are listed on the menu as CAJUN…. I was expecting ANY kind of flavor…. First bite was like biting into a wad of wet paper towels! Did they forget to season it before they boiled it? I don’t know, but there was not enough packaged salsa to make it palatable. I ate one taco (because at almost $14/plate, you’re gonna eat it), and switched with the hubs for some of his very tasty brisket bowl. Don’t get me wrong, excellent pico on those tacos, but I think a more accurate branding would be simply “chicken tacos…. Mildly seasoned shredded chicken…” The rest of the meal was good. Elotes were yummy, pickles were crazy good. But all in all, it was…. Meh. Service was lacking also. Employees were more interested in each other than creating an experience for the customer. I mean, it IS an airport, so maybe I should lower my expectations… but I’m there for a limited time. Teach me how to be a local. Make me WANT to come back and spend my vacation dollars in your area. I have choices, why should I choose what you have to offer over the...

They put way too much barbecue sauce on the tacos. Wait, why is there barbecue sauce on the taco?
The meat is very oily and dripping with grease off the tortilla. You can’t taste the other ingredients because of a mouthful of oil and Overpowering BBQ sauce.
My flight landed late, so most of the food places were closed. The taco truck gimmick is what got me.
The food is bad. Trust me, I paid $10 for 2 tacos and I hate to admit that I am throwing the food in the trash.
When I placed my order the lady looked at me and just stared as if I knew what she wanted me to say, and she kept looking at me after I asked her for two tacos please, then I realized she was waiting for me to specify beef or chicken. As far as customer service goes, it was quite rude.
When I brought my tacos back and said there’s absolutely too much barbecue sauce on these things, since the menu says barbecue sauce drizzle, they made it seem as if I was creating a problem.
More than anything, I think this place is probably ruining the reputation of food, for the...

Overpriced, sub-par food... Just grab something to eat due to the limited options available.
As far as I know, Earl Campbell's Food Truck is only at the Austin airport. On the plus side it's one of the first Venues to open for breakfast. Of course early bird travelers line up for a quick bit to eat since other options are very limited.
BREAKFAST TACOS: ~ EGG & CHEESE WITH BRISKET - 3/5 Stubby little Taco stuffed with Brisket. This actually looked like a mini Burrito or a Burrito cut in thirds. I can't talk ill of the portion, but the Brisket wasn't the best. Not up to Austin Standards, but still edible.
~ SAUSAGE WRAP - 1/5 Seriously skip this one... I only ordered it out of curiosity. They handed me a sausage like in a Tortilla! There was nothing else in it. This looks like something you give a 5 year old. ...annnddd it was $9!!! SMH At least it was edible.
Pick another option if it's...
