I used to come to this location almost every weekend and always had a good time back then. Well, it’s been several months since I’ve been and MAN has the service gone downhill. The bartender was slow and took forever to finally come take my drink order. Honestly, she seemed like she wasn’t all there and it wasn’t even busy. Then my brother and I decide we wanna play some pool, so we ask the bartender what the situation is on pool since there was no one at the door (which is where the person usually is that asks if you want a pool table) and she again... seemed confused and just gave a blank stare. Another lady on our side of the bar overheard us asking and tells us we have to give the bartender our name for the waitlist. Turns out she works there, too? I had no idea... she didn’t seem like an employee and she wasn’t at the front where she’s supposed to be. Anyway, my name gets called pretty quick, which was good. We get to the pool table and the waitress who is cleaning the table asks us “did they tell you it was $7 per person?”... uh no, they didn’t. But, ok? We already had our drinks that we ordered at the bar so she doesn’t ask us if we need anything. Totally fine. But, after she cleans the table and gets it ready for us, she leaves and we don’t see her again for a while. Our drinks had been finished for what seemed like 15-20 minutes before she came and asked for another drink order. I tried to be understanding/forgiving thinking maybe she’s the only waitress, but I look around and notice there are two more waitresses, so nope... she’s just slow. At one point we were sitting there with empty drinks and she is only a few feet away having a conversation with one of her friends and never even noticed we needed drinks.

The ONLY reason this place gets 2 stars and not one is because of the $4 Patron special they had and the pool price was a flat fee of $7 per person to play as long as you want, not hourly. Other than that, we had the worst experience and decided to leave after two games of pool to go to Topspin. I hope the owners read this review and take this into consideration and tell their staff to hustle more. We won’t be coming back after that...

Good food friendly staff with the exception of the GM Amy must be on a power trip. No good ol Texas hospitality from her. I'm a over the road truck driver. And I was staying at the hotel next door. Prior to making my room reservation I asked 2 questions are you pet friendly, I have a dog that rides me and 2 do you have truck parking for a semi, they said yes. So I made the reservation arrived at the hotel and they instructed me to park where I did, it was on the other side of,a fire lane, which were parking spots. I was told they've allowed it many times in the past, well not tonight and not for this driver. Now I'm settled for the night, my dog is in the room and I just want a shower and dinner and my room phone rings. It's the front desk telling me that the GM Amy Miss Not So Nice! Says I have to move my truck, now all the side streets have signs that say no overnight parking for trucks from 10:30pm to 6"30 am. So can't park on any of the surrounding streets, the hotel parking lot is very tight for a 65 foot vehicle so I backed into the spot I was told by the hotel. I can just pull straight out when I'm ready to leave very easy with no risk of a accident. But since I can't stay where I am safely parked because of Amy! And I can't park on the streets I have no choice to park in the hotels lot, so I did. Just pray I can get out without damaging anyone's property or my truck! Thanks for the Texas Hospitality Miss Amy, you truly are not a nice person. Oh by the way I bought dinner at your place tonight, so I guess I'm a customer now! Just not one that will ever be back again, thanks again for nothing. Use my $21 to buy yourself a personality and some consideration for others! Thanks for your support of us truckers. I used to go more frequently about 10 years ago at this location, and then moved back into the area a year ago and started going again - suffice to say:

Positives

HUGE improvement on wait times for orders - even when the place is busy you don't wait much for drinks (and kitchen is fairly quick too). BIG difference from 8 years ago or so when it was usual to wait 10+ minutes to get a drink

Staff is friendly, easy-going & polite

Staff also has great teamwork and actually seem to like each other (which is kinda nice)

Last several times I've been here, operation runs smoothly even with a large crowd

Plenty of parking and easy to leave (sometimes this is a factor)

Bathrooms much cleaner than years back (and the place no longer smells like an ashtray!!!)

Haven't had them yet...but funnel cake fries & marshmallow stuff looks GOOD

Negatives

Food menu is kinda limited

$13 Cover charge for UFC PPVs is a bit rich (better than paying full price, but still)

They got rod of the COMFY couches 😭

The blue sour kid drink goes...
