This place was amazing! I've eaten there a few times! I came in with a friend and family member. And my friend and I had never eaten here but my family member had. The staff was very nice and patient! They explained what I could get and how I'd do it, it was like Panda Express or Subway. They put the ingredients in a bowl right in front of you! You get free ingredients so after your greens you get to choose things like (bacon, onions, tomatoes, corn, cheese, cranberries, strawberries, olives, chicken, and so much more!) You get four for free more than 4 and you have to pay for it. Then for the sauce you get to choose they ask you if you want a small, medium, large or extra large amount of whatever sauce you choose. The seasoning is good! For the few times I've been I've always asked them for a dash of seasoning. You can choose lettuce, spinach, romaine, mixed greens and so much more! They have a spinach wrap, or a whole wheat tortilla. If you don't like whole wheat go for the spinach tortilla, I promise it won't disappoint! They also have 2 choices of soup! They have creme of jalapeno and chicken tortilla, (warning the chicken tortilla has a slight kick if spiciness to it so if you don't like spicy I'd recommend sharing or eating half!) I got warm peta bread as well I'm not sure if it comes with it or not but at the one location I was at the last time I was there I ordered a make your own on a spinach wrap with soup and they gave peta bread with it. Parents have kids that are picky and won't eat veggies? Don't fear! They have macaroni bowls and mini fruit salads an elite Mac bowl, bbq Mac bowl, and a MAD Mac bowl. They also have healthy drinks (some of these drinks have other fruits and or veggies that aren't in the name search for MAD Greens menu online and it'll tell you!) and fountain drinks! They have a strawberry cooler, Apple Greenie, Wake up which is carrots orange and some other ingredients, and lastly green detox. I'm sorry this is like a mile long I just really like this place! Definitely...
Read moreThis location is part of a nationwide franchise that focuses on an assembly line Subway like kind of model where you have their staff build and assemble your salad.
What makes this location different from all the others and this franchise in particular unique and it's on aspect is his focus on organic ingredients and combinations of spices that you won't find anywhere else with a unique combination of flavors and proteins and drinks!
What I also love about this location is the friendliness and attentiveness of their staff and for the focus of this review I'm going to hold on to things that and particular make this location a phenomenal place to visit.
First I do want to make mention that they have added a new aha tuna protein that you can add that is totally worth every dollar and get you about 30 g protein all by itself.
They also serve the most fresh avocado for the bang-for-the-buck compared to anywhere else!
Also the pickled onions are to die for and their salad dressings such as their avocado Sriracha or Sherry molasses vinaigrette are totally worth buying and bringing home all kinds of flavoring for your foods and not just salads ! :)
Also I love their southwest chicken here and they're mad spice is stunning as a flavor enhancer I love to add to each dish.
Every time I've come here to staff make sure everything is spotless and clean every tables clean and restrooms are clean!
They serve food in steel bowls or handy plastic bowls to go with no metal aluminum cross contamination!
This is a big deal to me as I have studied and learned how many other restaurants and fast food use to save a buck!
Also this month ever do any scratch-off cards and my mom won two free drinks! :)
Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a quick fordable healthy alternative to eating out...
Read moreI recently visited Mad Greens with my kids, and I have to say, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. Our encounter with a particular staff member was not just off-putting but downright rude.
First, the odor! As soon as we approached the salad bar, I was hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke emanating from the woman behind the counter. It was so overpowering that I could even smell it on my kids after we left. You’d think that in a place that prides itself on fresh food, the staff would maintain a pleasant and inviting environment. Instead, this was just a complete turn-off.
To make matters worse, her demeanor was incredibly unfriendly. When my youngest asked a simple question about what toppings were available, she rolled her eyes and snapped, "Just look at the sign!" It's hard to believe that someone working in customer service could be so dismissive, especially towards children. I could see my kids shrinking away from her attitude, which is not what you want when you're trying to enjoy a family outing. Even my attempts to lighten the mood by joking about the variety of toppings were met with a cold stare. Instead of engaging with us, she seemed irritated by our presence as if we were a nuisance rather than customers.
Overall, my experience at Mad Greens was overshadowed by this unpleasant interaction, and it's a shame because the food itself had potential. However, I doubt we will be returning anytime soon if the staff is allowed to maintain such a toxic atmosphere. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as no one should have to deal with a cigarette smell and such unkind treatment while trying to...
